Music context system, audio track structure and method of real-time synchronization of musical content

A system is described that permits identified musical phrases or themes to be synchronized and linked into changing real-world events. The achieved synchronization includes a seamless musical transitionachieved using a timing offset, such as relative advancement of an significant musical onset, that is inserted to align with a pre-existing but identified music signature, beat or timebasebetween potentially disparate pre-identified musical phrases having different emotive themes defined by their respective time signatures, intensities, keys, musical rhythms and/or musical phrasing. The system operates to augment an overall sensory experience of a user in the real world by dynamically changing, re-ordering or repeating and then playing audio themes within the context of what is occurring in the surrounding physical environment, e.g. during different phases of a cardio workout in a step class the music rate and intensity increase during sprint periods and decrease during recovery periods.

The present disclosure describes a process for clients in the music recording industry seeking to have audio recordings mixed to their specifications. This process involves enabling the client to designate which effects to include in their final audio mix in order to receive a finished audio track that sounds closer to the client's expectations. The client is empowered to specify exactly where audio effects should take place on a track-by-track basis. This process significantly improves the client's chances of receiving an audio mix from an engineer that meets the client's specifications, and helps the engineer create the audio mix right the first time.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ANALYSIS AND CREATION OF MUSIC
20180144730 · 2018-05-24 ·

A method and system for analyzing patterns in the relationships of notes of an input piece of music. The method comprises generating a set of the most frequently occurring note pitches in ascending pitch order that matches an interval pattern, and detecting out-of-key pitches that lie outside of this internal pattern. One or more potential key sequence bifurcations are identified which represent a list of possible key sequences according to forwards and backwards analysis. By finding patterns of repetition in the chordal sequences that may be generated according to these key sequence bifurcations, a key sequence that allows the most frequently recurring chord sequences may be chosen. Chord sequences may be analyzed by using ghost chords, temporary harmonic structures that are created, updated and finalized over time according to a combination of essential and inessential note fragments. The method further comprises identifying non-harmony pitches according to the analyzed chord sequence.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SIMPLIFYING MUSIC RHYTHMS
20180144729 · 2018-05-24 · ·

Systems and methods for simplifying music rhythms based on multiple criteria are provided herein. A user inputs a musical selection, or chooses one from an existing library of musical selections, and inputs a player proficiency level. The user then receives a music notation selection that has been adjusted to display rhythms that are appropriate for that player's proficiency level. The system is capable of receiving information and adjusting music notation arrangements in real time.

Dynamic music authoring

In some implementations, a computing device can be configured to present a graphical user interface that enables the dynamic authoring of music by a user of the computing device. The computing device can present a grid of cells, where each cell represents a music segment. The cells can be configured to playback the music segment once or playback the music segment in a repeating loop. The user can select (e.g., touch) one or more cells in the grid to cause the corresponding music segment to play. While playing selected cells, the user can provide input selecting various musical effects to apply to the playing music. The user can record a dynamically selected sequence of cells and musical effects to create an original musical product.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATIVE AI-BASED MUSIC CREATION

According to a first embodiment, there is presented herein an approach for a generative AI-based music creation system utilizing a user defined framework parameters containing at least one particular generative variable. A trained AI system with an associated audio loop database is used to generate multiple different output songs for selection by the user.

AUTOMATED MUSIC COMPOSITION AND GENERATION SYSTEM EMPLOYING VIRTUAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENT LIBRARIES FOR PRODUCING NOTES CONTAINED IN THE DIGITAL PIECES OF AUTOMATICALLY COMPOSED MUSIC
20240371347 · 2024-11-07 ·

An automated music composition and generation system including a system user interface for enabling system users to review and select one or more musical experience descriptors, as well as time and/or space parameters; and an automated music composition and generation engine, operably connected to the system user interface, for receiving, storing and processing musical experience descriptors and time and/or space parameters selected by the system user, so as to automatically compose and generate one or more digital pieces of music in response to the musical experience descriptors and time and/or space parameters selected by the system user. The automated music composition and generation engine includes: a digital piece creation subsystem for creating and delivering the digital piece of music to the system user interface; and a digital audio sample producing subsystem supported by virtual musical instrument libraries.

Apparatus, System and Methods for Creating Musical Compositions

Apparatuses, systems, and methods are presented for creation of musical compositions based on radio frequency identification (RFID) tags placed on a spot on the surface of a base. The RFID tags transmit a unique identifier (UID) to an RFID reader situated beneath the spot. The UID can be used to play music loops associated with the UID. An on-line database can be queried to determine whether a default music loop set or a new music loop set is to be played. If the default music loop set is retained, then context data can be applied to the music loop set to harmonize the resulting musical composition.

Method of Editing Audio Signals Using Separated Objects And Associated Apparatus

A method comprises providing an audio file comprising two or more discrete tracks; separating the two or more discrete tracks; setting a limit on an amount at least one of the two or more discrete tracks may be altered; and outputting the separated and limited discrete tracks as a file for use by an end user.

Apparatus for displaying sheet music

An improved apparatus for displaying sheet music is an electronic tablet having the ability to upload and download sheet music to the device as well as having the ability to provide a music composer with the tools to put the music easily and conveniently in printed form. Sound recognition allows the tablet to recognize audio sequences of music and locate the place in the electronic music sheets on the tablet to keep the proper location displayed for the user-performer, including automatically turning electronic pages during the playing of a piece of music.
