KEYBOARD DEVICE FOR KEYBOARD INSTRUMENT
A keyboard chassis has an upper limit stopper. A key extending a predetermined length in a front-rear direction is disposed on the keyboard chassis. A key support mechanism supports the key from below, and causes, upon depression of the key, the depressed key to operate such that the key pivotally moves about a virtual pivot located rearward of a rear end of the key. An upper limit position regulation portion provided on a lower portion of a front end of the key regulates an upper limit position thereof by contacting the upper limit stopper from below in a key-released state. A key rear-side stopper provided on the keyboard chassis is contacted by a rear end of the depressed key from below before the upper limit position regulation portion contacts the upper limit stopper, when the key returns to its original position before key depression.
Dynamic Pedal and Display
A small (smartphone-sized or tablet-sized), foot-enabled, flat, tiltable, rotatable, dynamic touch screen pedal and controller that uses a tilt mechanism to toggle between and select different audio (or other) functions and effects that are displayed on the attached display. The tilt of the device as well as optional tapping sequences activate different functions in predetermined function locations. Specific audio effects, audio effect presets, loops, songs, and controller functions can each be assigned to different touch screen locations, pedal buttons, and/or tilt directions.
KEY GUIDE STRUCTURE FOR KEYBOARD INSTRUMENT
A key guide structure for a keyboard instrument, which is capable of stably and appropriately guiding a key pivotally moved by key depression without generating noise. The key guide structure has guide holders each erected below a guide recess of each key, and guide members mounted to tops of the guide holders, respectively, each for sliding contact with lateral inner side surfaces of the recess. Each guide member includes a body disposed between the lateral inner side surfaces of the recess with a predetermined clearance, two lateral flexible portions laterally flexible and extending from lateral ends of a front or rear surface of the body in a manner protruding in a front-rear direction, and two lateral contact portions which are provided at front ends of the flexible portions in a manner protruding sideward and are in contact with the lateral inner side surfaces of the recess.
Musical Instrument Interface Device
A musical device between one or more Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) controllers and one or more musical instruments comprises a housing and a plurality of potentiometers on a surface of the housing. A method of mapping music messages using a musical device is provided. The method includes defining a preset value corresponding to a frequency to be received within a MIDI message. Once a MIDI message having the frequency is received by the device, the device uses the data of the MIDI message and the preset value to create a new output MIDI message. The new output message is then transmitted to a sound module for producing a sound that differs from the sound that would have been produced from the MIDI message, had it been received.
ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT, CONTROL METHOD FOR ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An electronic musical instrument includes a performance operator and at least one processor. In accordance with pitch data associated with the performance operator operated by a user, the at least one processor digitally synthesizes and outputs inferential musical sound data including inferential performance technique of a player. The inferential performance technique of the player is based on acoustic feature data output by a trained acoustic model obtained by performing machine learning on: a training score data set including training pitch data; and a training performance data set obtained by the player playing a musical instrument and is not played in the user operation of the performance operator.
PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS METHOD AND PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS DEVICE
A performance analysis method is realized by a computer and includes acquiring a time series of input data representing played pitch that is played, inputting the acquired time series of input data into an estimation model that has learned a relationship between a plurality of items of training input data representing pitch and a plurality of items of training output data representing an acoustic effect to be added to sound having the pitch, and generating a time series of output data for controlling an acoustic effect to be added to sound having the played pitch represented by the acquired time series of input data.
SENSOR MODULE, SYSTEM OF MODULES FOR A PIANO KEYBOARD, AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
Different aspects of the invention implement a sensor module that can be configured as a keyboard module or as a pedal module, allowing to connect a plurality of keyboard and pedal modules to assemble a configuration to the user's liking, such as, for example, the usual configuration of an 87-key piano together with two pedals. The sensor module transmits information about detected key or pedal strokes to a computer application for playback, either aural or visual. At the same time, the sensor module allows, both in the keyboard module and pedal module configuration, to transmit the feeling of playing a real piano.
Integrated Musical Instrument Systems
A system suitable for use as a musical instrument system is provided. The system includes at least one sensor. The system also includes at least one control surface configured to interface with the at least one sensor. Further, the system includes at least one controller configured to interface with the at least one sensor. Additionally, the system includes at least one program module configured to interface with the at least one sensor. The system includes an enclosure. The at least one sensor and the at least one control surface are positionable on the base. The system also includes at least one data processor configured to interface with the at least one sensor, the at least one control surface, and the at least one program module arranged to function as a musical instrument system. The system also includes an enclosure
ELECTRIC GUITAR
An electric guitar comprising a rotatable disc positioned underneath the guitar strings and comprising a plurality of attachment points; at least one pic comprising a body configured to be received by an attachment point of the rotatable disc and a flexible wire member extending from the body away from the rotatable disc; drive means configured to rotate the rotatable disc relative to the guitar body such that each time the at least one pic passes the at least one string it engages therewith causing the at least one string to vibrate and the at least one pickup generates an electrical signal; and an output jack for outputting the electrical signal to an amplifier.
ROTARY OPERATION DEVICE, AND ELECTRONIC KEYBOARD INSTRUMENT
A rotary operation device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a rotation detection unit configured to detect rotation; a knob; and an accommodation unit configured to accommodate the rotation detection unit, wherein the knob includes an operation portion configured to rotate in interlock with the rotation detection unit, and a stopper portion disposed more on a radially inner side than an outer edge portion of the operation portion, and the accommodation unit includes an engaging portion configured to be engaged with the stopper portion.
