SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MUSIC SIMULATION VIA MOTION SENSING
The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and devices for music simulation. The methods may include determining one or more simulation actions based on data associated with one or more simulation actions acquired by at least one sensor. The methods may further include determining, based on at least one of the one or more simulation actions and a mapping relationship between simulation actions and corresponding musical instruments, a simulation musical instrument that matches with the one or more simulation actions. The methods may further include determining, based on the one or more simulation actions, one or more first features associated with the simulation musical instrument. The methods may further include playing music based on the one or more first features.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD THEREOF FOR GENERATING SOUNDS
An electronic musical instrument for generating a plurality of audio signals can include an attitude measuring unit that is configured to measure one or more changes in an attitude of the musical instrument with respect to a reference frame in a multi-dimensional space. The musical instrument can also include a processor that is configured to generate one or more signals based on the measured changes in the attitude of the musical instrument. The musical instrument can also include an audio synthesizer that is configured to generate the plurality of audio signals based on the generated signals.
Computer vision and mapping for audio applications
Systems, devices, media, and methods are presented for playing audio sounds, such as music, on a portable electronic device using a digital color image of a note matrix on a map. A computer vision engine, in an example implementation, includes a mapping module, a color detection module, and a music playback module. The camera captures a color image of the map, including a marker and a note matrix. Based on the color image, the computer vision engine detects a token color value associated with each field. Each token color value is associated with a sound sample from a specific musical instrument. A global state map is stored in memory, including the token color value and location of each field in the note matrix. The music playback module, for each column, in order, plays the notes associated with one or more the rows, using the corresponding sound sample, according to the global state map.
Device for Displaying in Response to a Sensed Motion
A device includes a signaling means and a motion sensor, and logic for activating or controlling the signaling means in response to a sensed motion according to an embedded logic. The device may be used as a toy, and may be shaped like a play ball or as a handheld unit. It may be powered from a battery, either chargeable from an AC power source directly or contactless by using induction or by converting electrical energy from harvested kinetic energy. The embedded logic may activate or control the signaling means, predictably or randomly, in response to sensed acceleration magnitude or direction, such as sensing the crossing of a preset threshold or sensing the peak value. The visual means may be a numeric display for displaying a value associated with the count of the number of times the threshold has been exceeded or the peak magnitude of the acceleration sensed.
Device for displaying in response to a sensed motion
A device includes a signaling means and a motion sensor, and logic for activating or controlling the signaling means in response to a sensed motion according to an embedded logic. An arrangement for the conversion of at least one detected force from the movement of a sensing unit into an auditory signal. The arrangement includes at least one sensor for generating a force signal from the at least one detected force. A processing unit is configured for converting the force signal into a digital auditory signal. An output unit for converting the digital auditory signal into an auditory signal is further included wherein the digital auditory signal includes in formation of acceleration, strength and duration of a single detected force. The present method is used for converting at least one detected force affecting an object into auditory signal, as well as the use of an arrangement according to the present invention for various entertainment and/or therapeutic purposes.
Pace-aware music player
An electronic device may comprise audio processing circuitry, pace tracking circuitry, and positioning circuitry. The pace tracking circuitry may be operable to selects songs to be processed for playback, and/or control time stretching applied to such songs, by the audio processing circuitry based on position data generated by the positioning circuitry, a desired tempo, and whether the songs are stored locally or network-accessible. The position data may indicate the pace of a runner during a preceding, determined time interval. The pace tracking circuitry may control the song selection and/or time stretching based on a runner profile data stored in memory of the music device. The profile data may include runner's distance-per-stride data. The electronic device may include sensors operable to function as a pedometer. The pace tracking circuitry may update the distance-per-stride data based on the position data and based on data output by the one or more sensors.
Ergonomic electronic musical instrument with pseudo-strings
An ergonomic, portable, electronic, string-like instrument that utilizes a string-like interface. The string-like interface is tactile for sightless playability and capable of advanced input such as force and pressure sensitivity. The string-like interface functions to select a note, trigger a selected note, select and play a note on the instrument or an external peripheral. The instrument is played using the techniques of multiple stringed instruments and the ergonomics allow the user to hold and handle the device consistent with playing techniques familiar to musicians of multiple instruments. It is internally or externally powered and connects directly to industry-standard musical hardware such as MIDI devices, amplifiers and multi-track recorders.
MAGNETIC EARPHONES HOLDER
One or more accelerometers embedded with an earbud and/or a set of earphones are able to sense a moving pace of a user. Based on a moving pace of the user, a signal is sent to a remotely connected electronic device. The electronic device is able to separately increase and decrease a beat or rhythm of the audio from the electronic device based on a pace of the user. In some embodiments, an audio alert is sent to the user to inform the user of pace and whether the user has increased or decreased their pace. Additionally, in some embodiments, a program stored on the electronic device is used to compare the user's current progress and/or speed based on past runs and workouts.

A handheld musical instrument for playing a variety of audio program, the handheld musical instrument includes a main body portion with one or more sensors, a handle portion engaged with said main body portion, wherein said handle portion includes one or more control buttons to select a type of program to be played by said handheld musical instrument and a gesture detection module for detecting gestures associated with said handheld musical instrument and controlling a tempo associated with said program played by said handheld musical instrument based on said detected gestures.
