Low profile drain
A low profile drain includes a first extrusion channel extending lengthwise in a first direction, a second extrusion channel extending lengthwise in the first direction, and a connection channel extending lengthwise in the first direction. The connection channel is configured to interlock with an end of the first extrusion channel via a first interlocking mechanism, and interlock with an end of the second extrusion channel via a second interlocking mechanism. The first interlocking mechanism includes at least one first angular protrusion disposed on the first extrusion channel, and a first angular recess disposed on the connection channel. The at least one first angular protrusion is configured to interlock with the first angular recess.
ONE-PIECE SHOWER BASE
A one-piece shower base includes a pitched bottom surface, a plurality of vertical flanges extending upward from a plurality of outer edges of the one-piece shower base, a drain integrated within the one-piece shower base, and a pitched foam support base having an upper surface and a lower surface. The pitched bottom surface is pitched downward in at least one direction toward the drain. The upper surface of the pitched foam support base is adhered to an underside of the pitched bottom surface. The pitched foam support base fills in a hollow space below the underside of the pitched bottom surface created by the pitch of the pitched bottom surface.
Drain Assembly And Method Of Installation
A drain assembly comprises a drain pan, a trim member, and a drain cover. The drain pan has a base and a pan sidewall, and the trim member has a trim sidewall. The pan sidewall, at least a portion of the upper surface of the base, and the trim sidewall define a drain channel therebetween. The drain cover defines a plurality of apertures and is positionable above the drain pan. The trim member is configured to transition between a first position and a second position. In the first position of the trim member, the drain channel has a first width that extends in a transverse direction. In the second position of the trim member, the drain channel has a second width that extends in the transverse direction. The first width is different than the second width.
Shower tray
The disclosure relates to a shower tray comprising a base element provided with a peripheral edge from where an inclined surface projects towards a drainage opening, and a surface for supporting the user formed by floor tiles, and strips which protrude from the inclined surface, wherein the upper faces of the strips form a horizontal base surface for the floor tiles, a groove is formed at least between two floor tiles for the evacuation of the water towards the inclined surface. The first ends of the floor tiles are secured on at least one transverse band or strip, and one swivelling end of the transverse band or strip includes a corner with a right-angled profile and adapted to slide on the longitudinal recess, when the floor tiles are withdrawn from their horizontal base surface.
Method for Arranging an Element, Such as a Shower Board or Shower Drain, in a Floor
The invention relates to a method for arranging an element, such as a shower board or shower drain, in a floor, which method includes the steps of: providing an element which has an upper surface with at least two straight edges lying at an angle, preferably an angle of 90 degrees. The element has a strip of a flexible watertight layer standing upright from the upper surface along the corner of the two straight edges; folding the upright strip downward, wherein the folding edge is shaped adjacently of the two straight edges of the corner and wherein the strip of the flexible watertight layer hangs downward from this folding edge; and arranging the element in the floor. The upper surface of the floor lies flush with the upper surface of the element.
Concrete Finishing Assembly
A concrete finishing assembly includes a plurality of rails that each has a guide surface. A plurality of couplers each releasably engages a respective pair of the rails for attaching the respective pair of rails together. In this way the plurality of rails defines a border to surround a shower floor. A cylinder is provided and the cylinder can be inserted into a drain in the shower floor. A trowel unit is provided that has an adjustable length and the trowel unit is attachable to the cylinder. The trowel unit is slidable along the guide surface of the plurality of rails that defines the border. In this way the trowel unit can smooth concrete on the shower floor at a predetermined slope for draining water into the drain.
Systems for Recessing Subfloor Structures
A flooring installation includes at least two floor supports separated from one another by a span distance, the floor supports each having lateral, vertical side walls between which an opening is defined. A bay is defined between the floor supports. A primary subfloor is supported atop and attached to one of the at least two floor supports, the primary subfloor including an overhanging portion overhanging a portion of the bay. A spanning brace is disposed between the at least two floor supports in the bay, the spanning brace engaging on opposing ends the lateral, vertical side walls of the floor supports, one end of the spanning brace extending beneath and spaced from the overhanging portion of the primary subfloor. A recessed subfloor panel is supported atop the spanning brace, the recessed subfloor panel being supported at a lower elevation than the overhanging portion of the adjacent, primary subfloor.
Flooring system for use in a sloped floor
A flooring system includes a gridwork having a modular configuration that defines a grid with cells for receiving a filler material which forms a bed or floor base sloping toward a drain fixture. The gridwork includes different groupings of leveling holes located at selected junctions between adjacent cells that are arranged to selectively move or tilt the gridwork relative to an underlying base in conjunction with the formation of the bed or floor base.
Floor element for installation in a floor of a building room and system comprising such a floor element
The invention relates to a floor element (1) for installation in a floor of a building room, in particular a sanitary room, which is provided with a personal scale (3), preferably an electronic or electromechanical personal scale, or a measuring device for measuring a measured variable proportional to the weight force. The floor element (1) is preferably designed as a shower tray or shower floor element. Furthermore, the invention relates to a system comprising such a floor element (1) and a display device (10), wherein the display device (10) can be remotely and/or variably positioned relative to the floor element (1).
Shower base assembly compatible with residential and commercial construction
A shower base assembly includes a shower base, a drain grate frame, a double-threaded flange nipple, and a rubber gasket. The shower base includes a upper side pre-sloped to allow for water drainage to drain hole extending to a lower side of the shower base. The drain grate frame is insertable through the drain hole from the shower base upper side to be received within the double-threaded flange nipple. An industry standard plumbing drain body may engage the double-threaded flange nipple from the shower base lower side. The rubber gasket is compressed against the shower base about the drain hole between the double-threaded flange nipple and the drain body.
