An adaptable shower pan includes: a floor plate with a convex, or flat and level, upper surface; a bottom pan, including a bottom structure with a drainage aperture, and optionally an elongated drainage canal that leads from a drainage center to the drainage aperture; a plate support structure of support ribs; a side structure; and a front structure; such that a drainage gap forms on all sides of the floor, such that the bottom pan is watertight to allow water to drain omnidirectionally from all sides of the upper surface of the floor plate, via the drainage gap, to the drainage aperture.

A semi-round drain body includes an upper surface and a drain hole extending through the upper surface. The upper surface includes a first straight edge, a second straight edge disposed opposite to the first straight edge, a first curved edge, and a second curved edge disposed opposite to the first curved edge. The drain hole is disposed between the first and second straight edges and between the first and second curved edges. The invention relates to a method for arranging an element, such as a shower board or shower drain, in a floor, which method includes the steps of: providing an element which has an upper surface with at least two straight edges lying at an angle, preferably an angle of 90 degrees. The element has a strip of a flexible watertight layer standing upright from the upper surface along the corner of the two straight edges; folding the upright strip downward, wherein the folding edge is shaped adjacently of the two straight edges of the corner and wherein the strip of the flexible watertight layer hangs downward from this folding edge; and arranging the element in the floor. The upper surface of the floor lies flush with the upper surface of the element.

A linear drain system may include a main body including a first end, a second end longitudinally opposed to the first end, and a top surface, a drain opening formed through the main body, and a drain channel formed in the top surface and extending longitudinally from proximate the first end to proximate the second end and in fluid communication with the drain opening, wherein the drain channel includes a V-shape in cross-section.

A tool and a method for creating a base element for a shower installation are disclosed. Specifically, the tool relates to a multi-level, rotary mounted form arm and an edge support for forming mortar into a properly sloped shower base.

The present invention is directed toward a prefabricated shower curb system for easily providing a shower area with a water-retaining curb. The prefabricated shower curb system is formed mainly by a body that has a C-shape and includes a recess, and that is preferably manufactured from a rigid foam material such as expanded polystyrene. The body is mounted onto a wood, aluminum, or other support member arranged along a shower floor entrance area. The support member is secured to the shower walls or to an adjacent support member through brackets. A waterproof liner is used to cover and protect the support member. An adhesive material and the tapered interior design of the body recess allow the curb to be firmly secured in place on the supper member. The extraordinary strength, light-weight, low-cost, and easiness of size adjustment make the system novel in the industry.

A combination bathtub/shower base facility including a bathtub unit, and a shower base, wherein the bathtub unit and the shower base are molded together as one unitary piece. The shower base is positioned downstream of any fluid overflowing from the tub. The facility also includes means for providing easy installation of the facility. The facility provides a shower, a bathtub, a relaxation room, a rainroom, a steam space, and a total immersion bath experience.

A shower base is provided. The shower base includes a basin that slopes toward a center of the shower base in order to direct water towards a drain. The shower base also includes a curb that extends along a peripheral edge of the basin. The Curb has an elevation that rises above the basin in order to prevent water from spilling out of the basin. An insert is secured to the shower base and is disposed along a threshold between the basin and the curb on an ingress side of the shower base. The insert has a first top surface that slopes down from the curb and towards the basin.

The invention relates to a precut blank (1) consisting of a foldable material such as corrugated cardboard, paperboard or carton for producing automatically erectable packaging, in particular, a tray.
