Camera, method, non-transitory computer-readable medium, and system
The present disclosure includes an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, a non-transitory computer-readable medium, and a system. In one example, the information processing apparatus is a camera. The camera includes a memory, communication circuitry, and control circuitry. The memory is configured to store a first set of backup camera settings. The communication circuitry is configured to communicate with a server, the server configured to store a second set of backup camera settings. The control circuitry is configured to perform a start-up process when the camera is turned ON, the start-up process includes comparing the first set of backup camera settings to the second set of backup camera settings to determine whether the first set of backup camera settings is newer than the second set of backup camera settings.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPOSING FUNCTION PROGRAMMING FOR ADULT TOY OPERATION IN SYNCHRONIZATION WITH VIDEO PLAYBACK
A method for programming a tactile stimulation device includes displaying a video playback scrubber showing a video in conjunction with a timeline and providing navigation controls for playing, advancing, and regressing the display of the video. A control panel for selecting an operational mode of the tactile stimulation device is displayed concurrently with the video playback scrubber. Commands are received either via the displayed control panel or by keyboard, each of the commands selects the operational mode and an associated period of time. Each of the commands is graphically represented on the displayed timeline according to the selected periods of time. The commands are saved, along with the associated selected periods of time, either as an independent file or annotated within the video file.

Physical confirmation for network-provided content
A computer-implemented method includes receiving, from a remote communication device and at a server system, information that indicates a unique identifier for a physical item that corresponds to media content, the identifier differing from identifiers for other physical items that correspond to the same content; associating the received information with an account of a first user of a hosted internet service; and subsequently providing, by the hosted internet service, content that matches the content that corresponds to the physical item, based on a determination that the received information authorizes the first user to obtain the content provided by the hosted internet service.

Overlaying metadata on video streams on demand for intelligent video analysis
In various examples, cloud computing systems may store frames of video streams and metadata generated from the frames in separate data stores, with each type of data being indexed using shared timestamps. Thus, the frames of a video stream may be stored and/or processed and corresponding metadata of the frames may be stored and/or generated across any number of devices of the cloud computing system (e.g., edge and/or core devices) while being linked by the timestamps. A client device may provide a request or query to dynamically annotate the video stream using a particular subset of the metadata. In processing the request or query, the timestamps may be used to retrieve video data representing frames of the video stream and metadata extracted from those frames across the data stores. The retrieved metadata and video data may be used to annotate the frames for display on the client device.
VIDEO EDITING USING MOBILE TERMINAL AND REMOTE COMPUTER
A method for video editing using a mobile terminal and a remote computer is disclosed. A user selects a user video to edit using a mobile application of the mobile terminal. The user selects a visual effect and parameters of the visual effect using the mobile application. Subsequently, the mobile application provides a preview of the visual effect superimposed over the user video using a series of still images representing the visual effect. When the user confirms the preview, the mobile terminal generates a request for video editing and sends the request to a server. The request includes identification of the visual effect for combining the visual effect and the user video as confirmed by the preview. Based on the request from the mobile terminal, the server combines a video clip of the visual effect and the user video into a resulting video.
METHOD FOR PROCESSING SIGNALS WITH OPERATING STATE-DEPENDENT HANDLING OF MULTIMEDIA ATTRIBUTES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE THEREOF
A method for playing a media file in an electronic device is provided. The method includes running, on an electronic device having an operating system (OS), a media presentation system, receiving, at the media presentation system, from a source a media file including audio and video signals, wherein the video signals include the video container of a form suitable for representation on a video output component of the electronic device, playing, at the media presentation system, the media file by processing the audio and video signals, and manipulating, at the media presentation system, the video container depending on an operating state of one or both of the media presentation system and the electronic device while the audio and video signals are being processed.
