METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TRANSCRIPTION OF AUDIO DATA

Systems, devices, and methods transcribe words recorded in audio data. A computer-generated transcript is provided. The transcript comprises records for each word in the computer-generated transcript. At least one confirmation input is received for each record. The at least one confirmation input modifies a selected record and automatically identifies a next record for receiving a next confirmation input. A sequence of confirmation inputs may rapidly modify and validate each record in a sequence of records in the computer-generated transcript. A validated transcript is generated from the modified records and is provided from an evidence management system.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ASSOCIATING MEDIA CONTENT WITH CONTEXTS
20220374196 · 2022-11-24 · ·

Systems, devices, apparatuses, components, methods, and techniques for saving media content to a context for later playback are provided. An example media-playback device for identifying and playing media content for a user traveling in a vehicle includes a context detecting device, a context-driven playback engine, and a media playback engine. Contexts are established by parameters that can be detected by a media-playback device. Contexts are situations that are defined by one or more locations, times, events, activities, people, and devices. Media content is saved to the contexts for later playback. The contexts are detected by the context detecting device, the associated media content is identified by the context-driven playback engine, and the media content is automatically played through the media playback engine, without additional input required by the user.

Delivery of synchronised soundtracks for electronic media content

A method and system for streaming a soundtrack from a server to a remote user device for a reader of electronic media content. The soundtrack is defined by multiple audio regions. Each audio region defined by an audio track for playback in the audio region, a start position in the electronic media content corresponding to where the playback of the audio region is to begin, and a stop position in the electronic media content corresponding to where the playback of the audio region is to cease. The streaming of the soundtrack is based on control data generated by the remote user device.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for generation of media content associated with at least one code using an audition apparatus as described herein. The audition apparatus is connected to a remote platform over a network, with the remote platform providing for command and control of equipment included in the audition apparatus. Media content produced in each audition apparatus is timestamped, providing for synchronization of content received from different media capture devices of the same audition apparatus and content received from different media capture devices across different audition apparatuses.

METHODS FOR SERVING INTERACTIVE CONTENT TO A USER

One variation of a method for serving interactive content to a user includes, at a visual element inserted into a document accessed by a computing device: loading a first frame from a digital video; in response to a scroll-down event that moves the visual element upward from a bottom of a window rendered on the computing device toward a top of the window, seeking from the first frame through a subset of frames in the digital video in a first direction at a rate corresponding to a scroll rate of the scroll-down event, the subset of frames spanning a duration of the digital video corresponding to a length of the scroll-down event; and, in response to termination of the scroll-down event with the visual element remaining in view within the window, playing the digital video forward from a last frame in the subset of frames in the digital video.

Method and system for synchronizing playback of two recorded videos of the same surgical procedure

This disclosure provides techniques of synchronizing the playback of two recorded videos of the same surgical procedure. In one aspect, a process for generating a composite video from two recorded videos of a surgical procedure is disclosed. This process begins by receiving a first and second surgical videos of the same surgical procedure. The process then performs phase segmentation on each of the first and second surgical videos to segment the first and second surgical videos into a first set of video segments and a second set of video segments, respectively, corresponding to a sequence of predefined phases. Next, the process time-aligns each video segment of a given predefined phase in the first video with a corresponding video segment of the given predefined phase in the second video. The process next displays the time-aligned first and second surgical videos for comparative viewing.
