Vacuum cleaner attachment with floating cleaning element and surface cleaning apparatus including the same
A vacuum cleaner attachment generally includes a cleaning element that floats relative to a suction conduit of the vacuum cleaner attachment. The cleaning element is supported on a support structure that is movably coupled to a housing and is biased towards a floor, for example, as a result of the weight of the cleaning element support structure. The cleaning element may be permanently attached to the support structure or may be a removable or disposable pad or sheet attached to the support structure. The floating cleaning element may be supported between the suction conduit and one or more wheels of the vacuum cleaner attachment. The vacuum cleaner attachment may be removably attached to a vacuum cleaner, for example, to be used interchangeably with other surface cleaning heads.
Vacuum cleaner with hair collection element
A vacuum cleaner comprises a base having a suction nozzle adapted to be moved along a surface to be cleaned, and a hair collection assembly carried by the base and having a hair collection element adapted to collect hair from the surface to be cleaned as the base moves along the surface to be cleaned.
Agitator for a surface treatment apparatus and a surface treatment apparatus having the same
A surface cleaning head includes a housing having a front side and back side, a brush roll rotatably mounted to the housing within a suction conduit and having at least a portion proximate the opening of the suction conduit, a leading roller mounted to the housing in front of the brush roll, and a drive mechanism operatively coupled to the brush roll and the leading roller for driving the brush roll and the leading roller at same time. The brush roll includes an agitator body and a first bristle/flap arrangement comprising a first deformable flap extending from the agitator body and a first bristle strip and/or row of tufts extending from the agitator body and disposed adjacent to the first deformable flap. The first deformable flap is disposed at an aggressive angle and the first bristle strip and/or row of tufts is arranged at a passive angle.
Cleaner head for a vacuum cleaner
A cleaner head for a vacuum cleaner having a suction inlet, a front blade and a rear blade. The front blade is located forward of or at the front of the suction inlet and is arranged to pivot about a first axis. The rear blade is located rearward of or at the rear of the suction inlet and is arranged to pivot about a second axis different to the first axis. Each blade pivots between a deployed position and a retracted position. The blades are configured such that when one of the blades is in the deployed position, the other of the blades is in the retracted position. Additionally, when one of the blades moves from the deployed position to the retracted position, the other of the blades moves from the retracted position to the deployed position.
VACUUM TOOLS
A vacuum tool configured to be removably coupled to hose or wand of a vacuum includes a body including a first end, a second end, and a first longitudinal axis extending between the first end and the second end. The vacuum tool also includes a head coupled to the first end of the body, a connection portion coupled to the second end of the body and configured to couple the body to a hose or wand of a vacuum cleaner, and a brush coupled to the head. The brush includes an elongate support defining a second axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the body and configured to couple the brush to the head, and a plurality of bristles positioned on the elongate support.
Automatic cleaner
The present specification relates to an automatic cleaner. The automatic cleaner, according to one aspect, comprises: a casing having an inlet port; a suction device which is installed inside the casing and sucks external foreign substances through the inlet port; a moving device for moving the casing; and a side brush assembly movably installed at the casing, wherein the side brush assembly comprises: a movable member which is provided so as to be movable in the casing and protrudes outside of the casing; a side brush provided so as to be rotatable at the movable member; a hinge shaft for enabling the rotation of the movable member; and an elastic member for supporting the hinge shaft or the movable member.
Vacuum cleaner tool
A tool for a vacuum cleaner that comprises a nozzle and a bristle assembly. The nozzle comprises an elongate suction opening. The bristle assembly, which is mounted within the nozzle and protrudes through the suction opening, comprises a carrier to which a strip of bristles is attached.
FLOOR CLEANER WITH A MOVABLY MOUNTED SUCTION NOZZLE
A floor vacuum cleaner for cleaning a floor surface has a chassis with a chassis frame for traveling over the floor surface. A suction nozzle aspirates an airflow in the region of the floor surface. The suction nozzle is mounted relative to the chassis in the direction of travel to the front left and front right in each case by way of a mounting arrangement formed of a journal and a guide. The mounting arrangement allows a tilting of the suction nozzle about the journals, a rotation of the suction nozzle about a longitudinal axis, and a vertical movement of the suction nozzle, but a movement of the suction nozzle in the longitudinal direction of the chassis is prevented.
AUTOMATICALLY MOVING FLOOR PROCESSING DEVICE
An automatically moving floor processing device has a housing, at least one drive element that is driven by an electric motor and can rotate around a drive axle for movement purposes, and at least one contact element that moves ahead of the drive element in the direction of movement, which extends from a housing underside of the housing in the direction of a surface to be processed. In order to make it easier to overcome obstacles, a contact surface of the contact element pointing in the direction of movement and/or a connecting line that connects the contact surfaces of two contact elements be oriented nonparallel to the drive axle of the drive element, and be spaced apart from a contact surface of the drive element by a distance relative to the direction of movement that is less than one diameter of the drive element.
