A locking mechanism is moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position for releasably coupling the dirt collection bin to the housing. An ejection mechanism arranged to eject the dirt collection bin away from the housing when the locking mechanism is in the unlocked position.

A forward portion of the cyclone bin assembly is rotationally mounted between a closed position wherein the cyclone chamber and the dirt collection chamber are closed and an open position wherein a rear portion of the cyclone chamber and a rear portion of the dirt collection chamber are opened.
