The present invention provides a mounting system for an accessory that simplifies the process for installing the accessory.

One or more clamping aid tools for mounting to various squares and straight edges, including carpenter squares, framing squares, speed squares or the like, and various straight edges and rulers for easily and accurately positioning various objects, either flat and/or round, magnetic or not. The clamping aid tools can secure these squares and straight edges to various objects while they are being fitted, secured and/or welded together.

The invention pertains to a spirit level (10) comprising a base body (12) with a first measuring sole (52) and a runner element (14) with a second measuring sole (54), being connected to the latter and able to move relative to it in its longitudinal direction, wherein the first and the second measuring sole run at the same level. The marking device can have a main body portion having first and second arms pivotably attached thereto. The first and second arms, as well as the main body, can each have a marker to mark a target surface. The marking device can optionally have a level indicator and the first and second arms can have markers which can slide along a ruled measure for convenient positioning of marks on the target surface. Optionally, the markers can have biased, retractable, or sheathed marker pins.

The marking device can have a main body portion having first and second arms pivotably attached thereto. The first and second arms, as well as the main body, can each have a marker to mark a target surface. A vehicle safety device for detecting vehicle tilt automatically shuts-off power to an ignition system and fuel pump and summons emergency assistance using a bistable switch circuit that toggles between a first bistable switch position in response to a reset signal and a second bistable switch position in response to an alert signal. The safety device can remain in the bistable switch positions without a power source and employ an encrypted bi-directional protocol to summon emergency assistance and generate the reset signal without vehicle operator intervention.
