The invention relates to a dispensing device for metering and dispensing a predetermined number of multiparticulates from a container. The dispensing device comprises a chamber which includes an inlet through which multiparticulates can enter the chamber and an overflow through which multiparticulates can leave the chamber. There is also an outlet through which multiparticulates can be dispensed from the chamber. The chamber comprises a metering surface which includes at least one retaining portion. The, or each, of the retaining portions is configured to be able to releasably retain a single multiparticulate.

Delivery apparatus for autonomous system

In one embodiment, the present disclosure includes an automated delivery system apparatus comprising a mechanical guide, a movable unit coupled to the guide on a first surface, and an engaging unit configured to couple to a second surface separated from the first surface by a thickness. The engaging unit is configured to engage an item on the second surface. A magnetic binding force between the movable unit and engaging unit moves the engaging unit along a path corresponding to a path of the movable unit. The engaging unit moves an item along a least a portion of the path.

Granule dispenser

In one embodiment, the present disclosure includes a granule dispenser comprising a container for holding granulated components, a cap coupled to a bottom of said container, and a stopper. The stopper may be spring loaded against the ridge of said cap. An interface between the stopper and the cap comprises a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of sawtooth forms, wherein the protrusions mate to a base portion between the sawtooth forms in a first position to form a seal between the cap and the stopper, and wherein, when the stopper is rotated, the protrusions engage a sloped portion of the sawtooth forms to create a plurality of openings between the cap and the stopper.

A dispenser having a container for holding solid material to be dispensed. A metering dispenser is connected to the open bottom end of the container, the metering dispenser further including a button connected to a slide, the slide having a metering chamber which slides horizontally in a slide chamber. The slide chamber has an upper opening in communication with the open bottom end of the container and the slide chamber has a lower dispensing opening. The solid material fills metering chamber which is sized to hold a predetermined amount of the solid material, the solid material filling the metering chamber by gravity feed when the button is in the closed position, in which the metering chamber is in communication with the upper opening in the slide chamber. The solid material is dispensed when the button is depressed to slide the metering chamber over the lower dispensing opening.

A container and container closures are provided as well as methods of dispensing product from the container are provided. The container closure includes a pair of cover members. One cover member includes sifting apertures and the other cover member is imperforate to prevent dispensing product. The container closure may also include a measuring volume that can be used to measure a predetermined amount of product to be dispensed. Sifting and bulk dispensing may occur for either product dispensed directly from the container or when dispensing the predetermined volume of product.
