SPECTROMETER
A spectrometer is configured to measure a spectrum of a to-be-measured object and includes a spectrometer body and a sampling module. The spectrometer body has a light-incident port. The sampling module is disposed on the spectrometer body and includes a light source fixing base and at least one light source. The light source fixing base has at least one cup-shaped reflecting curved surface. The light source is disposed on the light source fixing base. The cup-shaped reflecting curved surface surrounds the light source. Illumination light emitted by the light source is reflected and converged by the cup-shaped reflecting curved surface and transmitted to the to-be-measured object. The to-be-measured object diffusely reflects the illumination light into to-be-measured light. The to-be-measured light enters the spectrometer body through the light-incident port and is measured by the spectrometer body. In the invention, high spectrum quality is achieved and a small volume is provided.
Spectrometry systems, methods, and applications
A hand held spectrometer is used to illuminate the object and measure the one or more spectra. The spectral data of the object can be used to determine one or more attributes of the object. In many embodiments, the spectrometer is coupled to a database of spectral information that can be used to determine the attributes of the object. The spectrometer system may comprise a hand held communication device coupled to a spectrometer, in which the user can input and receive data related to the measured object with the hand held communication device. The embodiments disclosed herein allow many users to share object data with many people, in order to provide many people with actionable intelligence in response to spectral data.
SPECTROMETER DEVICE AND SYSTEM
Described herein are a spectrometer system and a spectrometer device, which are suited for investigation or monitoring purposes, in particular, in the infrared (IR) spectral region, and for a detection of heat, flames, fire, or smoke.
The spectrometer device allows capturing incident light from an object and transferring the incident light to a length variable filter with a particularly high concentration efficiency. Apart from the spectrometer device, the spectrometer system further includes an evaluation unit designated for determining information related to a spectrum of an object by evaluating the detector signals provided by the spectrometer device.
Optics to reduce skew in integrated cavity output spectroscopic devices
An integrated cavity output spectroscopic (ICOS) device includes a cavity and a mirror positioned at an output end of the cavity. The ICOS device also includes a first collection lens positioned between a detector and the mirror at the output end of the cavity, and a second collection lens positioned between the first collection lens and the detector. The ICOS device further includes an optical component configured to reduce skew of an optical signal output from the cavity, where the optical component is positioned between the mirror and the first collection lens.
COMPACT RAMAN SENSOR AND APPARATUS FOR ESTIMATING BIO-COMPONENT
A Raman sensor includes a light source assembly having a plurality of light sources configured to emit light to a plurality of skin points of skin, each of the plurality of skin points having a predetermined separation distance from a light collection region of the skin from which Raman scattered light is collected; a light collector configured to collect the Raman scattered light from the light collection region of the skin; and a detector configured to detect the collected Raman scattered light.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COLOUR IMAGING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE
A device for determining the surface topology and associated color of a structure, such as a teeth segment, includes a scanner for providing depth data for points along a two-dimensional array substantially orthogonal to the depth direction, and an image acquisition means for providing color data for each of the points of the array, while the spatial disposition of the device with respect to the structure is maintained substantially unchanged. A processor combines the color data and depth data for each point in the array, thereby providing a three-dimensional color virtual model of the surface of the structure. A corresponding method for determining the surface topology and associate color of a structure is also provided.
