Disclosed is a drainage system for an automatic cleaning storage base of an electric mop. The automatic cleaning storage base of the electric mop comprises a casing member having a cleaning tank. The drainage system comprises a drain valve; an outlet end of the drain valve is connected to the outside of the casing member, and an inlet end of the drain valve is connected to the cleaning tank; the drain valve has a switch, and the switch is provided with a first rack; the drain valve is further provided with a duplex gear and a second rack; the duplex gear has a gear portion with a larger outer diameter to mesh with the first rack, and the duplex gear has a gear portion with a smaller outer diameter to mesh with the second rack.

A cleaner head for a cleaning appliance, including an agitator rotatable about an axis; a housing having a front side, a rear side and first and second sides which extend between the front side and rear side, said housing at least partially defining a chamber. The chamber at least partially surrounds the agitator, the chamber having a dirty air inlet and a dirty air outlet. The chamber includes an opening for permitting access to and removal of the agitator from the chamber and a cover cooperatively associated with the housing for permitting access to the chamber through the opening. The cover is movable to an agitator access position to permit the agitator to be removed from the chamber through the opening in a direction substantially orthogonal to the axis of the agitator and in a direction which is substantially parallel to a plane of the surface to be cleaned.

A handheld cleaning device includes a surface-moving portion and an upright portion. The surface-moving portion is in contact with a surface to be cleaned and is connected with the upright portion. The upright portion is configured to move the surface-moving portion in a case in which the surface-moving portion is in operation. The handheld cleaning device further includes a power battery configured to supply power to the handheld cleaning device. The surface-moving portion further includes at least two non-coaxial brushrolls configured to clean stains on the surface to be cleaned. The rotation speed of each brushroll is less than 3000 r/min.

A mobile cleaning robot can include a body and a cleaning assembly. The body can include a suction duct. The cleaning assembly can be operable to ingest debris from a surface of an environment. The cleaning assembly can include a dustpan engageable with the surface to direct debris toward the suction duct. The dust pan can be movable with respect to the body.

An autonomous floor cleaner can include a housing, a drive system for autonomously moving the housing over the surface to be cleaned, a controller for controlling the operation of the autonomous floor cleaner, a tank adapted to hold liquid, and a carry handle joined with the tank and/or the housing. The carry handle is movable between different positions, including a position in which the autonomous floor cleaner can be lifted via the carry handle while an inlet and/or outlet of the tank is blocked.

A floor cleaner including a base movable over a surface to be cleaned, the base including a front side, a back side opposite the front side, and a brushroll chamber. A supply tank is configured to store a cleaning fluid and a distribution nozzle is in fluid communication with the supply tank, the distribution nozzle operable to dispense the cleaning fluid onto the surface to be cleaned. A brushroll cover is removable from the base to access the brushroll chamber. A brushroll is within the brushroll chamber. The distribution nozzle is disposed adjacent the front side of the base and carried on an upper exterior portion of the base and configured to spray forwardly of the base in a direction from the back side toward the front side.

Roller brushes for a cleaning and/or care devices, for example, for cleaning and/or care of floor coverings in the form of tiles, natural, artificial, blocks of concrete or wood, with a rotationally symmetrical cylinder which comprises a cylinder surface. At least one first plurality of a first bundle of bristles with a first brush and a second plurality of a second bundle of bristles with a second brush may be arranged on the cylinder surface. The first bundle of bristles may be different from the second bundle of bristles.

A rotor assembly is provided and includes a rotor, tongs and an actuation system. The rotor includes a shaft defining a rotational axis about which the rotor is rotatable and rotor elements supported on the shaft to define grooves. The tongs are disposed in the grooves to occupy and move between first and second positions. At the first positions, the tongs are retracted from the grooves. At the second positions, the tongs are engaged in the grooves to disentangle fibers from the rotor. The actuation system is configured to bias the tongs toward the first positions and is actuatable to drive the tongs into the second positions.

A cleaning device and methods for cleaning are provided. In one embodiment, the cleaning device includes a head assembly, a body assembly, and a handle assembly. The cleaning device also includes components that enable the cleaning device to operate in dry cleaning modes and wet cleaning modes. Dry cleaning modes can employ a vacuum assembly, including a motor, tubing, and a fluid recovery tank in order to draw in debris and waste into a fluid recovery tank. Wet cleaning modes can further employ a fluid supply tank, a pump, and tubing in order to supply fluid to a brushroll to aid in a cleaning process.

A cleaning control method and device including a cleaning robot are provided. The cleaning robot includes a sweeping member and a mopping member which cooperate with each other, and an operating parameter is obtained. A sweeping area formed in real time by the sweeping member, a mopping area formed in real time by the mopping member and a mopped area formed on a lateral side of the cleaning robot are controlled to meet a first preset relationship according to the operating parameter. The first preset relationship includes that a first distance formed between a boundary of the sweeping area closest to the mopped area and a boundary of the mopped area closest to the sweeping area is greater than or equal to a second distance between a boundary of the mopping area closest to the mopped area and a boundary of the mopped area closest to the mopping area.
