System and Device for Measuring a Color Value, and Methods Thereof
A method of determining a color value of a target object is provided. The method includes capturing an image having a color calibration object and a color reference object. Computed calibration color values for the color calibration object and a first computed reference color value for the color reference object may be determined based on the single first image. A color calibration coefficient may be determined. A corrected reference color value may be determined based on the color calibration coefficient and the first computed reference color value. A second image may be captured. A second computed reference color value of the color reference object and a computed object color value of the target object may be determined based on the second image. A corrected object color value may be determined based on the corrected reference color value, the second computed reference color value, and the computed object color value.
Method for monitoring dentition
A method for monitoring a property of the appearance of the teeth of a patient, said method including: A) acquiring, by means of a first acquisition apparatus, at least one first two-dimensional image of said teeth and of a first reference gauge, referred to as initial image; B) acquiring, by means of a second acquisition apparatus, at least one second two-dimensional image of said teeth and of a second reference gauge having the same appearance as the first reference gauge, referred to as updated image; C) standardising the initial and updated images such that the representations of the first and second reference gauges on the standardised initial and updated images have the same appearance; D) before or after step C, marking the same region of the teeth on the initial and updated images; and E) comparing the appearance of said region in the standardised initial and updated images.
ACQUISITION KIT
An acquisition kit including: a mobile telephone; a mobile telephone holder including: a spacer opening via an oral aperture, intended to be inserted into the user's mouth, and via an acquisition aperture, and an adapter fastened to the spacer and defining, with the spacer, a chamber opening via the oral aperture and via an adapter aperture, the adapter including a base to which the mobile telephone is rigidly but removably attached in an acquisition position in which the objective lens of the mobile telephone has an at least partial view of the oral aperture, through the adapter aperture and the acquisition aperture. In the kit, the mobile telephone is clamped onto the base and the adapter includes a plate movably mounted on the base and on which the spacer is rigidly affixed.
ACQUISITION KIT
An acquisition kit including: a mobile telephone; a mobile telephone holder including: a spacer opening via an oral aperture, intended to be inserted into the user's mouth, and via an acquisition aperture, and an adapter fastened to the spacer and defining, with the spacer, a chamber opening via the oral aperture and via an adapter aperture, the adapter including a base to which the mobile telephone is rigidly but removably attached in an acquisition position in which the objective lens of the mobile telephone has an at least partial view of the oral aperture, through the adapter aperture and the acquisition aperture, the oral aperture having a curvature about a vertical axis in the service position, the radius of the curvature being greater than 20 mm and less than 80 mm.
Dental imaging and illumination device
A dental imaging and illumination device. The device has an optical interface for emitting light from the device and for receiving light into the device. The device has a light source, a camera, a beam splitter and a color reference. The color reference and the light source are optically coupled via an optical path so that the light source can illuminate the color reference. This optical path bypasses the beam splitter. The device facilitates color measuring particularly in the field of dentistry.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a body, a first head, a light transmission circle, a plurality of light emitting sources, a lens, a sensor, and a plurality of electrodes. The electronic device measures a user's skin using a speckle imaging method and can care for the user's skin based on measured data. The electronic device configures networking with an external terminal and can provide the convenience of the user's skin care
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COLOUR IMAGING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE
A device for determining the surface topology and associated color of a structure, such as a teeth segment, includes a scanner for providing depth data for points along a two-dimensional array substantially orthogonal to the depth direction, and an image acquisition means for providing color data for each of the points of the array, while the spatial disposition of the device with respect to the structure is maintained substantially unchanged. A processor combines the color data and depth data for each point in the array, thereby providing a three-dimensional color virtual model of the surface of the structure. A corresponding method for determining the surface topology and associate color of a structure is also provided.
Focus scanning apparatus recording color
Disclosed are a scanner system and a method for recording surface geometry and surface color of an object where both surface geometry information and surface color information for a block of the image sensor pixels at least partly from one 2D image recorded by the color image sensor. A particular application is within dentistry, particularly for intraoral scanning.
Image color data normalization and color matching system for translucent material
A shade selection program is disclosed that predicts the shade choice with the smallest CIEDE2000 color difference for dental composite resin restorations when given a backing and target shade. By utilizing generated regression models, a database of spectral reflectance information, and principles of Kubelka-Munk layering, a highly accurate shade selection program was designed. Additionally, a blending model for quantification of color adjustment potential was developed. Systems and methods for correlating RGB data from the VITA Linearguide 3D Master and VITA Bleached Guide 3D Master shade guides with their spectroradiometric correlates through a regression model while indicating a methodology for validation of accuracy of digital imaging systems are disclosed.
Device and method for determining surface topology and associated color
A device and method and system for utilizing confocal measurement and an optical arrangement to produce 3D color images. A color measurement optical path and a 3D measurement optical path may coincide at least at an object side of the device, and a minimal amount of light is extracted from a monitoring beam for color measurement without affecting 3D measurement.
