Diaphragm seal assembly with evacuated double diaphragm and vacuum monitoring
A diaphragm seal assembly, which includes a measuring instrument, a pressure being transmitted from a process side to be monitored, via an arrangement of two diaphragms having an evacuated intermediate space disposed therebetween, to the measuring instrument, reliably separated from the process side, the fatigue strength of the diaphragm seal assembly under extreme application conditions being improved.
Detection Apparatus Usable In A Nuclear Reactor, and Associated Method
A detection apparatus includes a resonant electrical circuit supported within an interior of a nuclear fuel rod generates a response pulse in response to an excitation pulse and transmits the response pulse through a cladding of the fuel rod to another location within a reactor in which the fuel rod is housed and without any breach in the cladding. A characteristic of the response pulse is indicative of a condition of the fuel rod. The detection apparatus also includes a transmitter positioned outside the cladding, in the reactor, in the vicinity of the fuel rod and configured to generate the excitation pulse and transmit the excitation pulse through the cladding to the resonant electrical circuit. A receiver is supported within the reactor outside of the cladding and, in response to the response pulse, communicates a signal to an electronic processing apparatus outside of the reactor.

Flow-through pressure transducer
A measuring system for a physical variable, the measuring system having a housing, a measuring tube having at least one tubular deformation body having a cross-section which is deformed at least partially and which is configured to expand elastically under pressure, two feed sections attached to end sections of the deformation body, two sealing sections for sealingly coupling the measuring system to a process, and two molded support sections to carry the housing. A measuring sensor system measures values of at least one of a stretching or a widening at at least two points on a section of the deformation body. An evaluation unit evaluates measured values of the stretching and widening and outputs them as a measurement signal. The housing at least partially surrounds and stabilizes the measuring tube on an outside and is provided with a vacuum and/or a negative pressure compared to the outside atmosphere.

TUBULAR SENSOR WITH DEFORMATION BODY
A flow-through pressure transducer comprising a cylindrical diaphragm positionable to allow fluid to flow therethrough which responds to variations in fluid pressure to generate an electrical signal proportional to such variations and which is incorporated in a housing for interconnecting with fluid delivery tubing. The diaphragm is made of relatively thin resilient metal, shaped to be a tube, elliptical in cross-section, with transducers, located on the elliptical major and minor axes which change their electrical state in response to movement of the diaphragm walls, and which are coupled in a bridge circuit for signal measurement. The housing is constructed for either gage or absolute fluid pressure measurements.
System and method for reducing thermal offset in a pressure gauge
A pressure measurement device is provided. The pressure measurement device includes a pressure gauge having a hermetically sealed cavity. The cavity is filled with pressure transferring media that includes a first material and a compensator material. The first material has a first coefficient of thermal expansion and the compensator material has a second coefficient of thermal expansion that is lower than the first coefficient of thermal expansion. The pressure measurement device includes a pressure reading mechanism coupled to the pressure gauge and operative to convert a displacement of the pressure gauge to a pressure measurement reading.
Pressure measurement device
A pressure measurement device is configured to adjust a gas pressure in an external gas cavity that is fluidly coupled thereto and measure the adjusted gas pressure in the external gas cavity. The pressure measurement device includes a port, a pressure control module, a port pressure sensor, and a gas discharging port. The pressure measurement device is fluidly coupled to the external gas cavity through the port. The pressure control module is coupled to the port through a gas passage and configured to operably provide pressurized gas to the external gas cavity or draw gas from the external gas cavity. The port pressure sensor is coupled to the port and configured to measure a gas pressure at the port. The gas discharging port is coupled to the port and the pressure control module, and configured to operably discharge gas from the port or the pressure control module to an external environment.
PRESSURE SENSING DEVICE, PRESSURE SENSING SYSTEM AND PRESSURE SWITCH USING SAME
A pressure sensing device includes an elastic tube defming a chamber and an opening in one or each of two opposite ends thereof in communication with the chamber, and a pressure sensor component sealed in the opening in one or each end of the elastic tube for detecting a change in air pressure in the chamber when the elastic tube is compressed by an external pressure. The pressure sensing device can be used under a waterproof or dustproof environment, or embedded in a bed mattress or seat cushion and incorporated with a signal processor for detecting changes in the biophysical condition of the user, or embedded in a floor mat and incorporated with light and/or sound generating device for reminding your home or store that someone is coming in or going out. Thus, the pressure sensing device has the characteristics of simple structure, practical applicability and wide application range.
