WAVEFORM ANALYTICS FOR OPTIMIZING PERFORMANCE OF A MACHINE
20190264632 · 2019-08-29 ·

An apparatus obtains waveforms representing measurements of a physical characteristic of a machine's operation and performance results of the machine corresponding respectively to the waveforms, each of the performance results being indicative of the machine's performance under conditions at which the measurement represented by the corresponding waveform was made. The apparatus calculates, for each of at least interval associated with each of the waveforms, an influence value that represents a degree of influence of the waveforms on the performance results over the interval.

Waveform analytics for optimizing performance of a machine

An apparatus obtains a plurality of waveforms representing measurements of a physical characteristic of a machine's operation and a plurality of performance results of the machine corresponding respectively to the plurality of waveforms, each of the performance results indicative of the machine's performance under conditions at which the measurement represented by the corresponding waveform was made. The apparatus divides each of the waveforms into a common plurality of intervals and calculates, for each of at least one of the intervals, an influence value that represents a degree of influence of the plurality of waveforms on the plurality of performance results over the interval.

Damage estimation device and damage estimation method
11977000 · 2024-05-07 · ·

A damage estimation device includes an acquisition unit that acquires a temperature change amount in a period during which an inflow air temperature rises and a period length, a distortion amount derivation unit that derives a distortion amount of a cooling device in the above period, based on the temperature change amount, and a damage value derivation unit that derives an accumulated damage value by integrating a value depending on the distortion amount. When the period length is shorter than a period length determination value, the distortion amount derivation unit derives a larger value as the distortion amount than when the period length is equal to or longer than the period length determination value.

Temperature display device of vehicle

A temperature display device of a vehicle is provided, which includes a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of coolant of an engine, the coolant being switched in circulation state by opening and closing a thermostat, between a first state where the coolant is circulated through a radiator and a second state where the coolant is circulated bypassing the radiator, a display unit for displaying a temperature of the coolant, and a controller for controlling a display mode of the display unit based on the detected temperature by the temperature sensor. When the detected temperature changes within a first temperature range where the thermostat is in an open state, the controller changes the displayed temperature on the display unit by less than the change of the detected temperature.

COOLING DEVICE ANOMALY DIAGNOSING APPARATUS

An anomaly diagnosing apparatus is adapted for a cooling device in an internal combustion engine. The apparatus is configured to execute an enlarging process, a rate calculating process, and an anomaly determining process. The enlarging process includes enlarging the cross-sectional area of the flow passage between an inner channel and an outer channel in the cooling device. The rate calculating process includes calculating a reference rate for a rate of rise of temperature of cooling water. The anomaly determining process includes determining that an anomaly is present in the check valve if a rate of rise of a detection value of cooling water temperature is smaller than the reference rate. The rate calculating process includes calculating the reference rate such that the reference rate has a smaller value in a case where the enlarging process is executed than in a case where the enlarging process is not executed.

A method of manufacturing an overheat bleed air detector includes providing a first elongate member having an inner surface that defines a plurality of grooves that extend from the first elongate member first end towards a first elongate member second end. The method further includes providing a second elongate member made of a ceramic based material and inserting the second elongate member within the first elongate member. An outer surface of the second elongate member is spaced apart from the inner surface of the first elongate member. The method still further includes inserting a center wire within the second elongate member.

Method And Test Object For Carrying Out A Test Run With A Test Object
20190041295 · 2019-02-07 ·

To subject a test object during a test run on a test bench to real environmental and/or surrounding conditions, particularly thermal conditions, it is provided that at least one temperature is measured at a measurement point as a measured variable during the test run on the test bench. At least one test object component of the test object is subdivided in a number of segments. The thermal interaction of at least one segment with the environment of the vehicle is simulated during the test run by a thermal simulation model of the simulation model. The thermal simulation model calculates the segment heat flow that is supplied to or dissipated from the at least one segment. This segment heat flow is adjusted as a function of the measured temperature at the test bench on at least one segment by means of a number of heat flow actuators.
