AIR SAMPLING ACTUATOR AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
An air sampling actuator and associated method are disclosed. The air sampling actuator may include a housing configured to mount on a canister, a motor configured to be accommodated in the housing, and an adaptor. The motor may generate a mechanical action, in response to a control signal received by the motor. The adaptor may be coupled to the motor and configured to interface with a valve-controlling knob of the canister. In a first configuration of the air sampling actuator, the adaptor may be uncoupled from the valve-controlling knob of the canister, and the hook portion may be unengaged with the canister. In a second configuration of the air sampling actuator, the adaptor may be coupled with the valve-controlling knob of the canister, and the hook portion may be engaged with the canister.
Gas measuring apparatus for secondary battery
A gas measuring apparatus for a secondary battery comprises: a chamber accommodating a secondary battery therein; a heater unit applying heat to the chamber to ignite the secondary battery accommodated in the chamber; a collection tube connected to the inside of the chamber to collect a gas generated in the secondary battery; a vacuum unit connected to the collection tube to vacuumize the inside of the chamber so as to introduce the gas into the collection tube; and a gas measuring unit measuring an amount of gas introduced into the collection tube.
Portable air sampler
An air sampling device and method of sampling air. The device has a housing body and a retaining assembly for a sampling device. A plenum has a top end coupled to the housing body about an opening such that the plenum is in flow communication with the opening and receives air flow generally from the top end to the bottom end generally along the longitudinal length thereof. A flow connection is coupled to the bottom end of the plenum. A mass flow meter has an input coupled to the flow connection and is in flow communication with the plenum via the flow connection. A blower is configured to draw air past the sampling device, through the opening, and through the plenum, such that a measuring portion of the air flows through the flow connection and through the mass flow meter, which measured the flow rate of the measuring portion.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SENSING HEADSPACE VIAL PRESENCE
Methods and systems for sensing headspace vial presence are described herein. In one embodiment, a system can include a sample probe, a fluid source in fluid communication with the sample probe, one or more of a pressure sensor and a flow sensor in fluid communication with the sample probe, and a processor configured to: (a) receive a first set of signals from the one or more of the pressure and flow sensors, execute an ejection procedure to remove a sample vial from the sample probe, receive a second set of signals from the one or more of the pressure sensor and the flow sensor during step (b), (d) detect whether the ejection procedure is successful from the first set of signals and the second set of signals, and (e) in response to the detecting, initiate one or more actions selected from the group consisting of: a remediation and an alert.
APPARATUS FOR ON-LINE TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT AND GAS SAMPLING USED IN CHUTE ZONE OF DRY QUENCHING COKE OVEN AND USING METHOD THEREOF
An apparatus for on-line temperature measurement and gas sampling used in the chute area of CDQ coke oven. The oven external unit includes a temperature indicator, a gas tube, a vacuum tank, and the oven internal unit includes a temperature measuring element, a temperature indicator. The temperature measuring element pass through the oven shell and oven along the oven radical, is located in the upper channel of the high-temperature ceramic tube with double-channel, one end of the high-temperature ceramic tube with double-channel is connected with the gas tube of the vacuum tank. The apparatus solves the problem that hard to measure the temperature and sample the gas of the part where the environment is the most complicated in CDQ coke oven, and has the advantages that the structure is simple, operation is easy to handle and can achieve real-time monitoring for the inner environment of the CDQ coke oven.
