System and method for load evaluation
A load verification system and method may be used to assess the loading of material from a loading work vehicle having a load bucket to a haulage work vehicle having a load bin. The system includes at least one volume sensor coupled to the loading work vehicle that observes a volume of material in at least one of the load bucket and the load bin and generates a corresponding volume data signal. The system also includes a first controller onboard the loading work vehicle and a second controller onboard the haulage work vehicle. At least one of the first and second controllers: receives the volume data signal from the at least one volume sensor; receives a unique haulage work vehicle identifier; associates volume data of the corresponding volume data signal with the unique haulage work vehicle identifier; and stores in memory the associated volume data and haulage work vehicle identifier.
Bulk-density measuring device for pre-expanded particles and method for manufacturing pre-expanded particles
A bulk-density measuring device includes a first vessel in which contracted pre-expanded particles are swollen and recovered from contraction in a pressure-reduced state where a vessel internal pressure is lower than atmospheric pressure; a second vessel filled with the pre-expanded particles after being swollen in the first vessel in the pressure-reduced state where a vessel internal pressure is lower than the atmospheric pressure, and into which the pre-expanded particles of a constant volume are collected fractionally; a pressure-reducing unit that adjusts the vessel internal pressures of the first vessel and the second vessel to be lower than the atmospheric pressure; and a scale that measures a weight of the pre-expanded particles filled in the second vessel.

An apparatus for measuring a degree of cure and a specific volume of a packaging material is provided, including: an upper load module configured for driving the rotation of an upper ball screw via an upper servo motor such that a force plate coupled to the upper ball screw moves downward and is thus positioned; a lower load module having a lower ball screw operating and moving via a lower servo motor such that a load joint group connected to the lower ball screw generates a corresponding displacement; an upper film cavity module connected to the upper load module; and a lower film cavity module disposed on the lower load module. The displacement of the load joint group enables a push rod to move upward. A heating pipe keeps constant the temperature of a subject to be measured in a cavity of the lower film cavity module.
System and method for operating a material metering system of an agricultural implement
A method for controlling a material flow rate from a metering system of an agricultural system includes receiving at a controller, a weight of a material in a storage tank. The method also includes receiving, at the controller, a volume of the material in the storage tank. The method also includes determining, via the controller, a density of the material in the storage tank using the weight of the material in the storage tank and the volume of the material in the storage tank. The method further includes determining, via the controller, a calibration of the metering system based on the density of the material in the storage tank.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSPECTION OF CONCRETE BLOCKS
A system for performing the inspection of a concrete block includes a conveyor, a weighing module and a scanning module. The conveyor extends along a conveying axis and conveys a support plate with the concrete block supported thereon. The weighing module weighs the support plate with the concrete block supported thereon. The scanning module includes a scanner scanning the upper surface of the concrete block and the upper surface of the support plate. The scanner is displaceable along a scanning axis and has a scanning range covering an entirety of an upper surface of the concrete block supported on the support plate and a section of the upper surface of the support plate extending from at least two consecutive lower edges of the concrete block supported on the support plate. A method performs the inspection of a concrete block.

A density meter for measuring the density of a fluid, having a base plate, wherein a spring element is clamped to the base plate; a torpedo, wherein the torpedo comprises a known weight, and wherein the torpedo is attached or coupled to the spring element; and a sensor, wherein the sensor measures a deflection of the spring element, as the torpedo displaces a volume of fluid.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LOAD EVALUATION

The invention relates to a powder hopper (101) for the gravity-driven feeding of powdered electrode precursor material (102) into a nip of a dry electrode calendar (2), said powder hopper comprising: a powder feed opening (105) for feeding powdered electrode precursor material (102) into the powder hopper; and a powder outlet opening (106) for metering the powdered electrode precursor material from the powder hopper into a nip, the cross-section of the powder hopper tapering between the powder feed opening and the powder outlet opening, and the powder hopper having a level detection means (103) for detecting the powder level of the powder hopper. The invention also relates to: a corresponding assembly consisting of a powder hopper and a first and a second roller that form a nip; and a method for operating a powder hopper.

A system and method for flaking. The system includes a stationary roller, and moveable roller, and an adjustable fixator applying tension between the stationary and moveable rollers. The fixator includes a pressure transducer and a linear indicator. The transducer and indicator allow the fixator to read pressures and make fine adjustments to the fixator to obtain a desired gap between the two rollers.
