IMPROVED ROTATING SPRAY ARM AND DISHWASHER HAVING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a rotating spray arm for use in a dishwasher. The rotating spray arm comprises a main body, an inlet port for receiving wash liquor, a channel inside the main body for conducting the wash liquor, an outlet port for discharging the wash liquor, wherein the inlet port and the outlet port open both into the channel and a mounting means for rotatably and releasably mounting the main body into the tub of the dishwasher.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher that includes: a tub configured to accommodate an object; a main arm that is configured to (i) rotate about a first axis inside the tub, (ii) guide first water of the incoming water through a first flow path and second water of the incoming water through a second flow path, and (iii) spray the first water to the object; an auxiliary arm that is configured to (i) rotate about a second axis inside the tub and (ii) spray the second water to the object; and an auxiliary arm connector that couples the main arm to the auxiliary arm and that is rotatable with the auxiliary arm, the auxiliary arm connector including: an auxiliary flow path guide that is configured to (i) guide the second water from the main arm to the auxiliary arm and (ii) control water pressure of the second water is disclosed.
CONTROL METHOD FOR DISHWASHER
A method of controlling a dishwasher includes washing an object accommodated inside a tub by spraying water and detergent onto the object, rinsing the object by spraying water onto the object, drying the object by removing moisture adhered to the object, detecting an amount of a rinsing agent, comparing the detected amount of the rinsing agent to a predetermined amount, based on the comparison, determining whether the detected amount of the rinsing agent is less than the predetermined amount, and increasing at least one of a temperature of water to be supplied in the rinsing or a drying time in the drying based on determining that the detected amount of the rinsing agent is less than the predetermined amount.

Wash system for washing appliance
A washing machine such as a dishwashing machine, preferably of the drawer-style or table-top style, or a laundry washing machine, the washing machine having at least one low-height wash liquid conduit connecting the outlet of a sump region of a washing tub to a wash pump. A cover plate is provided for covering a section of the washing tub base and the at least one low-height conduit is formed between the base of the washing tub and the cover plate by a combination thereof. The surface of a heating unit forms a surface of the low-height conduit and the sump is provided with multiple outlets.

DISHWASHER COMPRISING A SPRAY ARM ARRANGEMENT
A dishwasher may include a spray arm arrangement and a washing chamber. The spray arm arrangement may include a spray arm arranged to rotate around a first axis of rotation within said washing chamber. The spray arm may be provided with one or more spray nozzles arranged to spray washing liquid into said washing chamber. The dishwasher may also include a mechanical switch for detecting an angular position of said spray arm. The spray arm arrangement may further include an activating device arranged to rotate with said spray arm, which activating device may include at least one activating structure arranged to cyclically activate said mechanical switch during rotation of said spray arm.
Pump assembly for a dishwasher appliance
A dishwasher appliance includes a pump assembly for circulating wash fluid within a wash chamber and discharging wash fluid from a drain basin. The pump assembly includes a wash pump impeller coupled to a drive shaft and a drain pump impeller coupled to the drive shaft using a clutch, such as a centrifugal clutch. At speeds below a predetermined speed threshold, the clutch remains disengaged such that only the wash pump impeller rotates. When the speed of the drive shaft exceeds the predetermined speed threshold, the clutch engages causing the drain pump impeller to rotate and discharge wash fluid from the drain basin.
