A flight-type dishwasher or rack conveyor dishwasher has a conveyor apparatus (20) for conveying washware through individual treatment zones (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) of the conveyor dishwasher (1). The conveyor dishwasher (1) has a detection system (30) designed to detect the presence of washware or a washware carrier (7) in a predefined region (A) at an inlet (10) or at a feed (16) of the conveyor dishwasher (1). A control device (50) is designed to actuate the conveyor apparatus (20) such that the conveyor apparatus (20) is activated when washware or a washware carrier (7) is detected in the region (A) at the inlet (10) or feed (16) of the conveyor dishwasher (1), and that the conveyor apparatus (20) is deactivated when no washware or no washware carrier (7) is detected in the region (A) at the inlet (10) or feed (16) of the conveyor dishwasher (1).

A dishwasher, including a chamber for washing dishes and a chamber for storing dishes is provided. A mechanism is also provided allowing the dish racks to move the dishes from the washing chamber to the storage chamber of the dishwasher once the wash is completed.

A cleaning apparatus for cleaning articles to be cleaned is proposed, in particular a tunnel dishwashing machine. The control means is set up in order to select at least one operating mode of the cleaning apparatus corresponding to the detected loading of the conveying device with the items to be cleaned and to propose the selected operating mode by means of the displaying device to a user of the cleaning apparatus.

A dishwasher, including a chamber for washing dishes and a chamber for storing dishes is provided. A mechanism is also provided allowing the dish racks to move the dishes from the washing chamber to the storage chamber of the dishwasher once the wash is completed.

A loading system for loading a conveyor warewasher, wherein a piece of washware placed in a first region of a conveyor belt can be moved to or in the direction of a second region of the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt includes a clock-in lane subdivided into an upper first section and a lower second section and, in a region between the sections, a turning apparatus is arranged and configured to turn a piece of washware picked up from the clock-in lane and moved in the region between the first and second sections by 180 and subsequently transfer the piece of washware to the second section of the clock-in lane. Below the region between the first and second sections of the clock-in lane, a dirt collection region is provided, in which dirt can be received, having fallen from the piece of washware by way of gravity.

A warewasher conveyor assembly that may be a loader version or an unloader version for a commercial dishwasher. The warewasher conveyor assembly has a base and a chain conveyor assembly movably mounted to the base. The chain conveyor assembly is movable between a generally level in-use position and a tilted cleaning position where one end is raised, which allows for more convenient cleaning. The warewasher conveyor assembly also includes a movable support, such as a gas spring, which holds the chain conveyor assembly in the cleaning configuration. Related methods are also disclosed.

The invention relates to a handling module for loading a transport device of a conveyor dishwasher. The handling module comprises a turning wheel for turning a dishware item, a supply ramp and a feed ramp for transferring the dishware item from the turning wheel to a transport device of the conveyor dishwasher, wherein the feed ramp has at least one waste disposal opening, wherein the turning wheel is designed to receive the dishware item supplied via the supply ramp in an orientation with a use side facing upwards, wherein the turning wheel is also designed to turn the dishware item and to place same on the feed ramp with the use side facing downwards, wherein, when placing the dishware item on the use side, waste on the dishware item can be disposed of via the waste disposal opening due to gravity. The invention also relates to a cleaning system comprising the handling module, as well as a method for cleaning items to be cleaned.

A dish cleaning system for washing and automatically storing dishes includes a cabinet which defines an interior volume therein. The interior volume includes a loading space, a washing space, a drying space, and a storage space. A dish rack is positionable in the cabinet and is configured to hold a plurality of dishes. He drives system is mounted in the cabinet and is configured to move the dish rack between the loading space, the washing space, the drying space and the storage space. A washing assembly is provided which is configured to wash contents of the washing space of the interior volume of the cabinet.

A conveyor device includes: a first rotating body; a second rotating body; an endless belt entrained between the first rotating body and the second rotating body; and a plurality of engaging portions provided on a surface of the endless belt and engageable with the first plates. The conveyor device further includes: a first portion including the first rotating body and located mainly in water of the water tank; and a second portion including the second rotating body and located mainly above the water of the water tank. In the first portion, the endless belt is configured to move upward at a first angle with respect to a water surface of the water tank. In the second portion, the endless belt is configured to move upward at a second angle larger than the first angle with respect to the water surface of the water tank.
