Silverware, flatware or parts washer apparatus and method thereof

An apparatus and a method of washing (or pre-washing) silverware/flatware, or one or more other objects/parts is provided. The apparatus and method utilizes a fluid-push/pull pumping system and method in which generally an entire volume of fluid is pushed or pulled through a cavity of a housing in which the silverware/flatware or other objects/parts are located. The housing is configured to hold a mass of silverware or other item(s) within the cavity. The pumping system, which includes manifolding in fluid communication with the cavity, is configured to pump generally an entire volume of fluid out of the cavity, and to direct the pumped fluid back into the cavity to create a generally continuous flow of generally an entire volume of fluid through the cavity, thereby causing the fluid to flow through the mass of silverware or other item(s).

AUXILIARY GRAY WATER SOURCE DEVICE FOR COMMERCIAL KITCHENS

A dishwasher and method for operating the same utilize a diverter valve to control via rotation the flow of fluid such as wash fluid or pressurized air to a rotatable conduit supported in the rack of a dishwasher. A valve member may be disposed at a predetermined rotational position about an axis of rotation of the conduit such that a fluid inlet on a rotatable valve body may be rotated to the predetermined rotational position to restrict fluid flow to the conduit.

Ware Washing Machine with Heat Pump and Modulating Valve
20210100422 · 2021-04-08 ·

A conveyor type ware washing machine uses a heat pump to reduce exhaust heat and to heat incoming water. A modulating valve is used to control incoming water flow through a heat exchanger of the heat pump. Processing circuitry automatically dynamically adjusts the modulating valve between a plurality of open states based on the sensed refrigerant head pressure of the heat pump, so that the refrigerant head pressure is maintained in a predefined range. The ware washing machine is efficient, and reduces the amount of heat exhausted to ambient. Related methods are also disclosed.

FLUID LEVEL SENSOR ASSEMBLY AND ON-DEMAND GLASSWASHER INCORPORATING THE SAME

An on-demand glasswasher comprises a wash tank; a fluid level sensor assembly that includes an ultrasonic sensor assembly positioned within the wash tank; at least one microprocessor connected to the ultrasonic sensor assembly; and a memory device coupled to the at least one microprocessor, the memory device storing processor-executable instructions which, when executed by the at least one microprocessor, configure the microprocessor to receive, from the ultrasonic sensor assembly, ultrasonic signals; and analyze the ultrasonic signals to determine a level of fluid in the wash tank.

Dish washer

A dish washer and a control method are disclosed. The dish washer includes a sump and at least one nozzle configured to inject water. The dish washer also includes a distributor configured to receive water of the sump and distribute the water to the at least one nozzle. The dish washer also includes a reservoir configured to receive and store the water of the sump. The dish washer also includes a circulation path configured to connect the sump and the distributor. The dish washer also includes an inflow path configured to branch off from the circulation path to supply the water of the sump to the reservoir. The dish washer also includes a first valve configured to open or close the inflow path and a second valve configured to open or close the outflow path, and the outflow path is configured to flow the water out of the reservoir.

DISHWASHING APPLIANCE HAVING A VARIABLE SPRAY ASSEMBLY TO ALTERNATE THE SPRAY OF WASH FLUID
20210212547 · 2021-07-15 ·

A dishwashing appliance or variable spray assembly, as provided herein, may include a manifold body, a diverter valve, and a driver. The manifold body may define a fluid inlet, a first flow path, a second flow path, a first spray outlet, and a second spray outlet. The first and second flow paths may be downstream from the fluid inlet. The second flow path may be in fluid parallel to the first flow path. The second spray outlet may be spaced apart from the first spray outlet. The diverter valve may be mounted within manifold body and movable between a first zone position directing wash fluid to the first flow path and a second zone position directing wash fluid to the second flow path. The driver may be disposed outside of the manifold body to motivate the diverter valve between the first zone position and the second zone position.
