Dishwasher and method for operating a dishwasher
A dishwasher includes a pump device operated by a pump current for supply of washing liquor to a first spray device via a first hydraulic arrangement for providing a first washing zone and to a second spray device via a second hydraulic arrangement for providing a second washing zone. A third spray device is connected to one of the first and second hydraulic arrangements for providing an intensive washing zone. In a first switching state, the third spray device is isolated from the one hydraulic arrangement, and in a second switching state the third spray device is connected to the one hydraulic arrangement. A control device determines a current switching state of the third spray device as a function of a difference between the pump current when washing liquor is supplied to the first hydraulic arrangement and when washing liquor is supplied to the second hydraulic arrangement.
Dishwasher and base component
A dishwasher and a base component, the base component includes base (1) and overflow cover (2). The overflow cover (2) includes an overflow port (211) and an overflow water distribution cover body (21) of an mounting portion (2131), the overflow water distribution cover body (21) has an overflow chamber (212), and the base (1) has an overflow hole (112) and a connection portion (113) which is docked with the mounting portion (2131). Both the overflow port (211) and the overflow hole (112) communicate with the overflow chamber (212) and form an overflow channel (214); the water inlet plate (215) is provided on the overflow cover (2) adjacent to the upper surface (10) of the base (1) and communicates with the overflow port (211). The water inlet plate (215) is provided with a plurality of filter holes (2151).
DISHWASHER HAVING A HEAT EXCHANGER
A dishwashing machine comprising a tub, a sump, a first water tank, a second water tank and a heat exchanger. The sump is fluidly coupled to the tub. The first water tank is directly fluidly coupled to a water supply external the dishwashing machine and having a fresh water. The second water tank includes a singular inlet that is selectively fluidly coupled to the first water tank through the sump. The heat exchanger is located inside the first water tank.
FOOD WASTE DISPOSER
A food waste disposer includes a transfer pipe connectable to a dishwasher to transfer washing water containing food waste from the dishwasher, a pump to be installed to the transfer pipe to provide power to transfer the washing water through the transfer pipe, a separation device connectable to the transfer pipe to separate the food waste from the washing water transferred from the transfer pipe, and a storage container detachably coupled to the separation device to receive the separated food waste from the separation device and to dispose the received separated food waste.
Dishwasher and method of controlling same
The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher and a method of controlling the same. The dishwasher may determine an amount of foam in a wash space using a turbidity sensor measuring a turbidity value of wash water. Additionally, the dishwasher may perform a foam removal operation based on the amount of the foam in the wash space. In this case, the turbidity value measured by the turbidity sensor may be used. The foam removal operation may include a drainage operation, a water supply operation, and a wash operation that are consecutively performed, and may be performed in one or more of a pre-wash course, a main wash course, and a heating and rinsing course.
DISHWASHING APPLIANCES AND METHODS FOR ADDRESSING OBSTRUCTION THEREIN
Dishwashing appliances and methods, as provided herein, may include features or steps such as performing a drain cycle; detecting a pressure (P1) during an activation period of the drain cycle; comparing the pressure to a first predetermined pressure limit; comparing the pressure to a second predetermined pressure limit; determining a target fill value based on a difference between a normal fill volume and a fluid volume corresponding to P1; and initiating a fill cycle based on the target fill value.
Filtration assembly with grinding mechanism
A dishwashing appliance with a filtration assembly capable of removing/shredding/pulverizing large dishwashing debris from recirculated dishwashing fluid is provided. The dishwashing appliance may include a tub, a spray system, a recirculation pump, a drainage pump, and a grinding type filtration assembly in fluid communication with the spray system, the recirculation pump, and the drainage pump.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING A SOUS-VIDE COOKING CYCLE IN A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
A dishwashing appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber, a pump configured to deliver a liquid into the wash chamber, a spray assembly provided within the wash chamber, conduit in fluid communication with the spray assembly, a rack slidably provided within the wash chamber, container attached to the rack and in fluid communication with the conduit, and a controller in communication with the pump and the spray assembly. The controller is configured to perform a series of operations, including determining that a cooking operation has been input to the dishwashing appliance, activating the pump to supply the liquid to the container at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined amount of time such that an amount of liquid within the container is above a first predetermined amount, and deactivating the pump after the predetermined amount of time.
Dishwasher with image-based diagnostics
A dishwasher, comprising: a wash tub; a sprayer configured to spray fluid within the wash tub; an imaging device configured to capture images within the wash tub; and a controller coupled to the imaging device and configured to perform a remote start of a wash cycle in the dishwasher in response to receiving a remote start command from a remote device by: controlling the imaging device to capture one or more images within the wash tub; initiating communication of the captured one or more images to the remote device for viewing on the remote device; waiting to receive a confirmation from the remote device; and starting the wash cycle in response to receiving the confirmation from the remote device.
