A warewasher is provided: It may include a timer, a wash chamber, a sump, a hot water fill solenoid configured to direct hot water into the sump, a chemical dispenser, at least one spray arm, a circulation pump, an ozone generator assembly configured to provide aqueous ozone solution to the sump, and a drain assembly. The timer may control the hot water fill solenoid, the chemical dispenser, the circulation pump, the ozone generator assembly, and the drain assembly to effectuate a cleaning sequence.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher includes a tub, a basket, a spray device configured to spray washing water, and a sump configured to supply the washing water to the spray device. The spray device includes a first spray rotor including a first spray arm and a shaft integrally formed with the first spray arm to guide the washing water supplied from the sump to the first spray arm, a second spray rotor rotatably coupled to the shaft and including a second spray arm configured to spray the washing water branched from the washing water guided to the first spray arm through the shaft, and a shaft hole formed in the second spray arm to allow the shaft to pass therethrough, and a communication hole formed in the shaft to allow the shaft to communicate with the second spray arm.
FUNCTIONALIZED SURFACES FOR HOME APPLIANCES
A home appliance, such as a laundry appliance, includes a component assembly with a sensor and a sensor-controlled component for operating the appliance, and a cover for housing the component assembly therein. The cover has an outer surface and an inner surface. The cover includes a functionalized superhydrophobic multi-layer coating on at least one of the outer surface and inner surface. The functionalized superhydrophobic coating prevents moisture from entering the component assembly and attacking sensors housed therein, and has a water contact angle thereon of at least 145 degrees.
Dishwasher with drain assembly and check valve
A check valve assembly for a drain pump configured to transfer fluid from a sump, through a volute having a pump discharge passageway extending from the volute, includes a seat assembly and a flapper assembly. The seat assembly has a body with a first distal end and a second distal end, and a fluid passage extending through the body. The body defines a valve seat having a sealing surface about the fluid passage. The flapper assembly is operably coupled to the seat assembly. The flapper assembly has a moveable portion configured to selectively move between a closed position where the moveable portion seals against the sealing surface and an opened position where the moveable portion raises to allow liquid through the fluid passage. The check valve assembly is configured to be located within the pump discharge passageway.
Tableware Washing Apparatus and Filtering Device Thereof
A filtering device and a tableware washing apparatus, the filtering device includes a rotary filter and a drive assembly. The rotary filter includes a columnar filtering screen configured to filter water from a washing process of the tableware washing apparatus; wherein a diameter of an external circle defined by each mesh of the columnar filtering screen is between 0.2 to 0.5 mm. The drive assembly is connected to the rotary filter and configured to drive the columnar filtering screen to rotate relative to contents within the columnar filtering screen at a relative speed of 100 to 1000 r/min, for separating at least a portion of residue on the columnar filtering screen from the columnar filtering screen.
WAREWASHER WITH AIR ASSISTED PRESCRAPPING
A warewash machine for washing wares includes a chamber for receiving wares, the chamber having an inlet side, an outlet side, multiple spray zones between the inlet side and the outlet side, and a conveyor arrangement for moving wares along a conveyance path through the multiple spray zones in a ware travel direction. A prescrapping zone is located toward the inlet side of the chamber, the prescrapping zone having a blow-off system comprising a plurality of prescrapping nozzles and a compressed air feed line for delivering compressed air to the prescrapping nozzles.
WAREWASHER WITH AIR ASSISTED WASHING AND/OR RINSING
A warewash machine carries out at least one of (i) delivering both compressed air and rinse liquid to a plurality of wash spray nozzles of the warewash machine for spraying onto the wares during at least part of a washing operation of a ware cleaning cycle, wherein the wash liquid is recirculated from a wash tank below the spray zone; or (ii) lowering wares from the spray zone into a wash tank below the spray zone to submerge the wares within wash liquid of the wash tank and delivering compressed air into the wash tank during at least part of a washing operation of a ware cleaning cycle; or (iii) delivering both compressed air and rinse liquid to a plurality of rinse spray nozzles of the warewash machine for spraying onto the wares during at least part of a rinsing operation of a ware cleaning cycle.
