USER INTERFACE CONSOLE FOR AN APPLIANCE PROVIDING CLEARANCE FOR AN EDGE CONNECTOR
A user interface assembly for an appliance includes a user interface console having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion defines a first thickness, the second portion defines a second thickness, wherein the second thickness is greater than the first thickness. The user interface assembly also includes a user interface circuit board secured to the second portion of the user interface console. Further, the user interface assembly includes an edge connector electrically coupled to the user interface circuit board. As such, the second thickness of the second portion of the user interface console provides a clearance between the edge connector and the user interface console. The user interface assembly also includes a wired connection electrically coupled to the edge connector for electrically coupling the user interface circuit board to a controller of the appliance.
Article Washing Device
An article washing device for countertop cleaning of nursing bottles includes a plurality of walls, which are engaged to and positioned in a housing to define a refill reservoir for holding water, a wash compartment, a drain basin positioned under and in fluidic communication with the wash compartment, a heated compartment, and a chamber within the heated compartment. A tray is selectively insertable through a slot in the housing so that the tray is in fluidic communication with the chamber. The tray holds detergent selectively delivers an effective amount of the detergent to the chamber to generate a cleaning solution. A plurality of spray arms is positioned in the wash compartment. An article is positionable over a respective spray arm. A heater selectively heats the cleaning solution and a pump selectively pumps the cleaning solution and water through the respective spray arm to clean and to rinse the article, respectively.
DOS air barrier with door condensation
A dishwasher system for cleaning dishes may include a dishwasher tub configured to house dishes therein and run a dishwasher cycle, a door assembly configured to selectively seal the dishwasher tub, the door assembly including an inlet nozzle arranged on the inside of the door assembly, the inlet nozzle extending across the width of the door at the top of the door assembly to receive hot and moist air post wash from the dishwasher tub, and a duct fluidly connected to the inlet nozzle and configured to transfer the air through the door assembly and out an outlet nozzle during a drying phase of the dishwasher cycle prior to the door assembly being opened post-cycle.
SYSTEM COMPRISING A DISHWASHER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER
A system includes a dishwasher having a dishwasher cavity, a door for closing the dishwasher cavity, and a number of receptacles receiving items to be washed. A control apparatus executes a washing program from a plurality of washing programs so as to wash the items to be washed. A pivoting facility is provided to automatically pivot the door, and a movement facility automatically moves at least one of the receptacles. An ascertaining unit ascertains a loading request of a user of a number of loading requests for loading and unloading the dishwasher cavity, and a determining unit determines a movement sequence including a pivoting of the door and a movement of one of the receptacles based on the ascertained loading request. An actuation unit actuates the pivoting facility and the movement facility so as to perform the determined movement sequence.
POCKET HANDLE BLEND FOR AN APPLIANCE
A door for an appliance may include a door panel having a handle opening defined by a handle opening edge, a front surface, and a back surface, and a pocket handle positioned in the handle opening. The pocket handle may have a pocket handle lip resting on the front surface of the door panel and may be disposed around the handle opening edge of the door panel. The pocket handle lip may define a peripheral edge and may include the pocket handle lip and a plurality of top corners. The pocket handle lip may have a top portion, a bottom portion, and a pair of opposing side portions. The plurality of corners may be formed by the top portion and opposing side portions. At each top corner, the pocket handle may have a transverse thickness that tapers towards the peripheral edge in both a vertical direction and a lateral direction.
DISH TREATING APPLIANCE WITH A DRYING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATION
A dishwasher includes a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber, with an access opening.
