ANALYSIS METHOD OF 3-METHYL-1-PHENYL-2-PYRAZOLIN-5-ONE BULK DRUG, TREATMENT FOR AMYOTROPHIC LATERAL SCLEROSIS, INHIBITION OF PROGRESSION OF AMYOTROPHIC LATERAL SCLEROSIS, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING DRUG CONTAINING 3-METHYL-1-PHENYL-2-PYRAZOLIN-5-ONE BULK DRUG
This method of analyzing the phenylhydrazine content in a 3-methyl-1-phenyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one bulk drug involves: obtaining a first measured value by measuring the phenylhydrazine content of a standard solution that contains phenylhydrazine or a salt thereof, a first acidic water and a first water-soluble organic solvent, and that exhibits a phenylhydrazine concentration of 0.01 g/mL to 10 g/mL; obtaining a second measured value by measuring the phenylhydrazine content in a sample solution that contains a 3-methyl-1-phenyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one bulk drug, a second acidic water and a second water-soluble organic solvent; and detecting the phenylhydrazine content in the 3-methyl-1-phenyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one bulk drug on the basis of the first measured value and the second measured value. The first acidic water is at least one type selected from hydrochloric acid, an aqueous acetic acid solution, and the like, the first water-soluble organic solvent is at least one type selected from acetonitrile and methanol, the second acidic water is at least one type selected from hydrochloric acid, an aqueous acetic acid solution, and the like, and the second water-soluble organic solvent is at least one type selected from acetonitrile, and methanol.

Detection method of polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether residue in medicinal materials
A detection method of polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether residue in medicinal materials is provided, which belongs to a technical field of medicinal chemical component detection, and includes: detecting a residual amount of mPEG-2000 in 3000-3400 small-molecule mPEG-b-PDLLA by high-performance liquid chromatography with an evaporative light scattering detector. The present invention solves a problem that the copolymer polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether mPEG and the product polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether-polylactic acid block copolymer mPEG-b-PDLLA are difficult to be separated in the high-performance liquid chromatography and there is no UV absorption. The present invention also has high resolution, high sensitivity, sufficient reproducibility and sufficient selectivity.
Online chemical derivatization using a cooled programmed temperature vaporization inlet
A method of detecting an analyte by: providing a derivatizing agent that is reactive with the analyte; delivering the derivatizing agent into a chamber; delivering a sample of a gas suspected of containing the analyte into the chamber before or after delivering the derivatizing agent, while the chamber is maintained at a temperature that retains the derivatizing agent and any analyte and that allows reaction between the derivatizing agent and any analyte in the chamber to form a derivatized analyte; warming the chamber to cause evaporation of any derivatized analyte; and delivering the derivatized analyte in the chamber into a gas chromatograph column.

FUNCTIONALIZED CALIBRANTS FOR SPECTROMETRY AND CHROMATOGRAPHY
Calibrants and methods of making the same include using mixtures of multifunctional core compounds or multifunctional dendrimers that are functionalized to yield a set of discrete compounds which cover a range of collisional cross sections (CCSs) for calibrating ion mobility and variation in molecular weight to calibrate the mass to charge (m/z) measurements of mass spectrometry, as well as for calibrating tandem instruments that measure both dimensions. Methods of using the calibrants are also disclosed, such as in mass spectrometry.
