APPLIANCE CONTROL PANEL WITH LIGHT DIFFUSION FEATURES
A door for an appliance includes a control panel mounted on the door and defining an illumination direction. The control panel includes a printed circuit board defining a top surface, a light source mounted to the top surface of the printed circuit board, a control cover mounted to the top surface of the printed circuit board over the light source and defining a light directing channel extending from a bottom surface of the control cover to a top surface of the control cover, and wherein the control cover further defines a reflective surface for redirecting the light generated by the light source toward the top surface of the control cover, and an overlay panel mounted on the top surface of the control cover, the overlay panel comprising one or more diffused indicator zones.
Domestic dishwasher and method for treating items to be washed
A household dishwasher includes a dishwasher cavity defining a treatment chamber, a loading unit accommodated in the treatment chamber for holding items to be washed, a washing apparatus configured to apply washing liquid to the treatment chamber, and a fan wheel mounted in the treatment chamber above the loading unit for rotation in a blow-off operating phase such that the fan wheel draws in air from the treatment chamber, accelerates and moves the air forward and downward as an air flow in the treatment chamber. The air flow strikes a blow-off region at a top of the loading unit and blowing off washing liquid from atop the items being washed.
DOMESTIC APPLIANCE HAVING AT LEAST ONE PLUG FOR AN ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
A flexibly deformable chain that includes connectors for electrical contacting. Each of the connectors can include a first component in which electrically conductive contacts can be retained. The first component can be made from a fire-retardant plastic. Additionally, a second component can allow mechanical connection of each of the connectors in the flexibly deformable chain. The second component can have an ignition point which is lower than an ignition point of the first component and the second component can have an elasticity which is greater than an elasticity of the first component.
TABLEWARE HYDRO-CLEANING APPARATUS
A compact counter manual use tableware hydro-cleaning apparatus (10, 10′) comprising two operating units defined by a first unit (12, 12′) and by a second unit (14) not rigidly connected to each other, separable, movable and positionable/repositionable independently with respect to each other, the first unit (12, 12′) defining a control unit which houses the components/devices required for the operation of the hydro-cleaning apparatus and the second unit (14) defining a tableware washing chamber.
Dishwasher comprising at least one fan impeller in the dishwashing compartment
A dishwasher, in particular household dishwasher, includes a dishwasher cavity for receiving an item to be washed, a rotatable fan wheel arranged in the dishwasher cavity and configured to draw in air and to blow out the air, and a motor operably connected to the fan wheel and operating at a rotational speed which is variable over time.
Dishwasher with cam-based position sensor
A dishwasher and method utilize a cam-based position sensor that is configured to sense multiple rotational positions for a discretely directable tubular spray element driven by a tubular spray element drive.
Tinted console cover for an appliance
A dishwasher appliance having a console assembly equipped with light bleed prevention features is provided. In one aspect, the dishwasher includes a cabinet, a door rotatably mounted to the cabinet, and a console assembly mounted to the door. The console assembly includes a light source operable to emit light into a console cover. A light blocking film is mounted to a top surface of the console cover and defines a light pass-through opening through which light may pass to illuminate an indicia. The console cover includes one or more edges that may be exposed to an ambient environment. The console cover is formed at least in part of a non-clear resin such that light is allowed to travel through the console cover and through the light pass-through opening yet light bleed stemming from the one or more edges is not visible to a human eye.
Ergonomic intelligent dishwasher
Ergonomic Intelligent Dishwasher comprising of closed-loop carousel system, tableware storage holder and a Wash-Pod. Individual tableware is inserted through an opening where the tableware attaches to a closed-loop, speed-adjustable carousel-system that moves the individual tableware, in a queue-fashion, through one or more wash cycle as the attached-tableware travels towards the tableware separation-mechanism. Tableware separation-mechanism is activated or deactivated for each individual tableware in the said queue on the carousel based on user-define setting or an internal quality-control process, thus, when deactivated, attached tableware on the carousel continues to travel through additional said cleaning cycle in the loop until such time when carousel-tableware separation-mechanism is activated. Once the tableware is discharged and separated from the carousel, the tableware is directed to one or more tableware storage holder. As part of the same unit, Wash-Pod is a housing within the unit with closeable lid for washing kitchenware items based on user parameters.
Dishwashing appliance having a wirelessly powered spray assembly
A dishwashing appliance may include a cabinet, a tub, a spray arm, a fluid pump, an electric motor, a wireless power receiver, and a wireless power transmitter. The tub may define a wash chamber within the cabinet. The spray arm may be movably disposed within the wash chamber. The spray arm may define one or more orifices to direct wash fluid to the wash chamber. The fluid pump may be in fluid communication with the spray arm to motivate wash fluid thereto. The electric motor may be mounted apart from the fluid pump in mechanical communication with the spray arm to direct a spray position thereof. The wireless power receiver may be in electrical communication with the electric motor. The wireless power transmitter may be spaced apart from the fluid pump in operable communication with the wireless power receiver to transmit an electromagnetic field thereto.
Dishwashing appliance having a wirelessly powered pump assembly
A dishwashing appliance may include a cabinet, a tub, a fluid pump, and a wireless power transmitter. The tub may define a wash chamber within the cabinet. The fluid pump may be in fluid communication with the tub for motivating a flow of wash fluid from the tub when activated. The fluid pump may include a fluid impeller rotatably positioned in fluid communication with the wash chamber, and an electric motor in mechanical communication with the fluid impeller to motivate rotation thereof. The wireless power receiver may be in electrical communication with the electric motor. The wireless power transmitter may be spaced apart from the wireless power receiver in operable communication with the wireless power receiver to transmit an electromagnetic field thereto.
