The spectroscopy assembly includes a multiplexer configured to combine a plurality of light beams into a multiplexed light beam, wherein the multiplexer is configured to direct the multiplexed light beam toward a target surface. Additionally, the spectroscopy assembly includes a collection optic configured to receive a reflected multiplexed light beam from the target surface. Further, the spectroscopy assembly includes a controller configured to de-multiplex the multiplexed light beam into a plurality of reflected light beams and determine a spectral intensity of the plurality of reflected light beams.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ANALYZING A RAIL
A deployable measurement system for analyzing a rail of a railroad track includes a housing, a reflecting assembly coupled to the housing, a movement assembly coupled to the housing, and an optical measurement system disposed within the housing. Both the housing and the reflecting assembly are moveable between a stored position and a deployed position. The movement assembly includes a deployment assembly that moves the reflecting assembly from the stored position to the deployed position, and a retraction assembly that moves the reflecting assembly from the deployed position to the stored position. The optical measurement system emits and receives light. The reflecting assembly reflects the emitted light toward the rail. The reflecting assembly reflects light reflected off of the rail toward the optical measurement system. The light received by the optical measurement system is used to measure parameters related to the rail.

The outer cover is provided with a convection hole. The bubble isolation shield is provided with a liquid intake hole. Further provided is an optical concentration testing device including the protective casing.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS
The present invention relates to systems and methods for monitoring agricultural products. In particular, the present invention relates to monitoring fruit production, plant growth, and plant vitality. According to embodiments of the invention, a plant analysis system is configured determine a spectral signature of a plant based on spectral data, and plant color based on photographic data. The spectral signatures and plant color are associated with assembled point cloud data. Morphological data of the plant can be generated based on the assembled point cloud data. A record of the plant can be created that associates the plant with the spectral signature, plant color, spectral data, assembled point cloud data, and morphological data, and stored in a library.
Remote sensing of natural gas leaks
A method of detecting natural gas releases that includes the step of traversing a target area with a gas-filter correlation radiometer having a field of view oriented towards the target area. The gas-filter correlation radiometer receives reflected radiation in a passband from the target area and produces gas-filter correlation radiometer signals from the received reflected radiation. A surface reflectivity spectral profile of the target area is determined. The presence of methane in the target area is then determined based upon the received reflected radiation and the surface reflectivity spectral profile of the target area.
Retroreflectivity measurement system
A retroreflectivity measurement system comprises a light source arranged to project light across a traffic lane during a measurement run, the light being limited to a particular portion of the visible light spectrum. A camera is selectively sensitive to this light to provide first filtered images and separately selectively sensitive to light at a portion of the spectrum not including the particular portion to provide second filtered images. A controller obtains sequences of first and second filtered images during the measurement run, and identifies within the sequences of images an illuminated road marking; determines a first intensity of the marking from a first filtered image, and a further intensity of the marking from the second filtered images; estimates an ambient intensity of the marking, by applying a scaling factor to the further intensity; and determines a retroreflectivity of the marking as a function of the first and estimated ambient intensities.
Spectrometric Measuring Head for Forestry, Agricultural and Food Industry Applications
A spectrometric measuring head for forestry, agricultural and food industry applications comprises a housing having a window and a spectrometer that is arranged inside the housing and comprises a dispersive element and a sensor, a first light source for exposing a sample to light, which reaches the spectrometer through the window after having been transmitted and/or reflected by the sample, and a standard that can be exposed to light to provide a reference for the spectrometer, which standard can be exposed to light by a light source arranged in the housing.
NEAR-INFRARED TIME-OF-FLIGHT IMAGING USING LASER DIODES WITH BRAGG REFLECTORS
A remote sensing system includes an array of laser diodes configured to generate light. One or more scanners are configured to receive a portion of the light from the array of laser diodes and to direct the portion of the light from the array of laser diodes to an object. A detection system is configured to receive at least a portion of light reflected from the object and is configured to be synchronized to the at least a portion of the array of laser diodes comprising Bragg reflectors. The remote sensing system is configured to generate a two-dimensional or three-dimensional mapping using at least a portion of a time-of-flight measurement. The remote sensing system is adapted to be mounted on a vehicle and communicate with a cloud. The at least a portion of the two-dimensional or three-dimensional mapping is combined with global positioning system information.
