DISHWASHER WITH CONDENSING DRYING SYSTEM
A dish treating appliance for treating dishes according to a cycle of operation can comprise a tub defining a treating chamber. The treating chamber can fluidly couple to condenser having an inlet, an outlet, and a condensing passage. The condenser can further comprise multiple ambient air inlets to mix humid air drawn from the treating chamber with ambient air within the condenser. The condenser can further integrate a water inlet with a condenser outlet, such that a water supply and condensed liquid can be provided to the treating chamber through the same opening.
Cutlery rack
The present invention relates to a cutlery rack (21; 41) for a dishwasher (10). The cutlery rack comprises: a support frame (23; 43) surrounding a storage area for the cutleries; a rack bottom (25; 45) with a first and a second side; a first support arrangement (29; 48) for cutleries arranged on said first side of the rack bottom; and a second support (49) arrangement for cutleries arranged on said second side of the rack bottom, wherein the cutlery rack is arranged with either the first or second side of the rack bottom facing upwards. The invention furthermore relates to a dishwasher (10) comprising at least one cutlery rack (21; 41) as defined above.

A method of operating a dish treating appliance includes a user interface disposed along the top edge of a door for selectively opening and closing access to a treating chamber. The user interface can be illuminated and operating the user interface can include operating a user input mode when the door is open and a status mode when the door is closed.

A dishwasher system for cleaning dishes may include at least one rack configured to receive a silverware basket, the basket including a plurality of partitions creating a plurality of cavities within the basket for receiving utensils for washing, where each cavity includes a separate and distinct base at a bottom of the basket that is vertically movable within the cavity, a camshaft fixed to the rack and operable by a gearbox configured to rotate the camshaft with respect to the rack, the camshaft arranged below the silverware basket, and a plurality of cams extending along the camshaft, at least one cam being arranged below each cavity, wherein upon rotation of the camshaft by the gearbox, each cam affects the height of the respective base to allow the utensils in the respective cavity to be intermittently lifted and exposed to spray from sprayers within the dishwasher.
CONFIGURABLE LOWER RACK FOR DISHWASHER
A washware rack assembly including: a basket formed by a plurality of wire-shaped elements, the plurality of wire-shaped elements including a bottom portion and a side wall portion; and a plurality of removable, preformed rows of tines configured to mount to the basket. The plurality of removable, preformed rows of tines include tines having a first, fixed spacing and tines having a second, fixed spacing which is different than the first, fixed spacing. A pair of the removable, preformed rows of tines having the first, fixed spacing is disposed in parallel in one section of the basket, and a pair of the removable, preformed rows of tines having the second, fixed spacing is disposed in parallel in another section of the basket, such that the washware rack assembly is configured to accommodate washware of different sizes in different sections of the basket.
FOLD AWAY CUTLERY RACK
Provided herein are cutlery racks, dishwashers, and associated methods for manufacturing and cleaning with the same. The dishwasher may include a cutlery rack having a first engaging portion, a second engaging portion, and a shelf. The first and second engaging portions may he respectively slidably attached to a first wall and a second wall of a dishwasher rack. The shelf may extend between the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion, may slide in a longitudinal direction with respect to the first wall and the second wall, and may pivot with respect to the dishwasher rack between a working position and a stowed position. In the working position, a receiving surface of the shelf may align with the longitudinal direction, and in the stowed position, the receiving surface shelf may be pivoted out of alignment with the longitudinal direction and positioned adjacent ends of the first and second walls.
METHOD FOR CLEANING CUTLERY OR CUTLERY PARTS, CUTLERY HOLDER FOR HOLDING CUTLERY TO BE CLEANED IN A DISHWASHER, AND DISHWASHER
A method for cleaning cutlery or cutlery parts, wherein the method includes the method step of filling a cutlery holder with the cutlery to be cleaned, the method step of treating the cutlery to be cleaned with a washing liquid, and the method step of treating the washed cutlery with a clear rinsing liquid. The cutlery holder is filled with the cutlery to be cleaned such that the individual cutlery parts are movable relative to each other and/or relative to the cutlery holder, wherein at least during clear rinsing and preferably also during washing, the cutlery parts are moved at least once and preferably several times relative to each other and/or relative to the cutlery holder in order to avoid static contact points between the individual cutlery parts and/or between the cutlery parts and the cutlery holder. A corresponding cutlery holder, and a dishwasher are also provided.
THIRD RACK ASSEMBLY FOR A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
A dishwasher appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber for receipt of articles for washing and a third rack assembly slidably positioned within the wash chamber and configured for movement along the transverse direction. The third rack assembly includes a perimeter support wire and a flat floor suspended from the perimeter support wire, the flat floor being formed from interwoven floor wire and defining a floor width that is greater than 70% of a tub width of the tub. The diameter of the perimeter support wire is about 0.17 inches, the diameter of the floor wire is about 0.06 inches, and both the perimeter support wire and the floor wire are formed from stainless steel or nylon-coated metal.
ARTICLE HOLDER ASSEMBLY FOR A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
An article holder assembly for use in a dishwasher appliance includes a first attachment arm for securing to a first side wall of a rack of the dishwasher appliance, a second attachment arm for securing to an opposing, second side wall of a rack of the dishwasher appliance, and at least one article positioning arm secured between the first and second attachment arms. The article positioning arm(s) is movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. Thus, the article positioning arm(s) defines a predefined geometry configured to receive a portion of one or more articles for cleaning in the dishwasher appliance. Further, when the article positioning arm(s) is in the engaged position, the predefined geometry positions and secures one or more of the articles on a rack of the dishwasher appliance for cleaning.
ARTICLE HOLDER ASSEMBLY FOR A DISHWASHER APPLIANCE
An article holder assembly for use with a dishwasher appliance includes a base portion adapted to fit onto at least one of an upper rack or a lower rack of the dishwasher appliance. Further, the article holder assembly includes at least one arm member removably coupled to the base portion, a first attachment location for the at least one arm member, and a second attachment location for the at least one arm member. Further, the article holder assembly is adjustable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. Thus, in the engaged position, the arm member(s) is secured to the first attachment location such that the arm member(s) extends outward from the base portion to support one or more of the articles during a wash cycle of the dishwasher appliance. Moreover, in the disengaged position, the arm member(s) is secured to the second attachment location such that the arm member(s) rests against the base portion.
