Article holder assembly for a dishwasher appliance
An article holder assembly for use with a dishwasher appliance includes a base portion adapted to fit onto an upper rack or a lower rack of the dishwasher appliance. The article holder assembly includes at least one arm member removably coupled to the base portion, a first attachment location for the at least one arm member, and a second attachment location for the at least one arm member. Further, the article holder assembly is adjustable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. Thus, in the engaged position, the arm member(s) is secured to the first attachment location such that the arm member(s) extends outward from the base portion to support one or more of the articles during a wash cycle of the dishwasher appliance. Moreover, in the disengaged position, the arm member(s) is secured to the second attachment location such that the arm member(s) rests against the base portion.
Dishwasher and controlling method therefor
A method for controlling a dishwasher includes: supplying washing water to a sump; rotating an impeller disposed in a washing pump by a washing motor so that the washing water flows into the washing pump from the sump; operating a heater disposed in the washing pump so as to heat the washing water existing in the washing pump and generate steam to supply to a steam nozzle; and supplying the washing water or steam in the washing pump to the steam nozzle by rotating the impeller at a second set rotational speed lower than a first set rotational speed by the washing motor. The method further includes closing a selector valve, configured to open and close a path between the washing pump and the steam nozzle, when the impeller rotates at the first set rotational speed or higher.
DISHWASHER CHOPSTICK TRAY
An automatic dishwashing device may include a tub defining a hollow dishwashing cavity having a back, top, bottom, and two sides and is accessible via an access opening at a front of the cavity, a rack slidably disposed within the tub and moveable in a longitudinal direction between a stored position within the tub to an extended position where the rack extends outside of the tub, and a tray slidably engaged with the rack for sliding movement in the longitudinal direction, wherein the tray is configured to selectively remain partially within the tub when the rack is in the extended position or extend outside the tub when the rack is in the extended position.
RACK ASSEMBLY AND DISH WASHER COMPRISING THE SAME
A rack assembly of a dish washer is disclosed. A rack assembly of a dish washer according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes a frame including a plurality of wires separately arranged on a bottom surface configured to house cutlery, and a plurality of tine blocks detachable from the plurality of wires, each of the plurality of tine blocks respectively includes a holding surface supporting the cutlery, and a plurality of tines formed on the holding surface, wherein the plurality of tine blocks include a first time block including a plurality of first tines separately arranged by a first interval in a first direction, and a second tine block including a plurality of tines separately arranged by a second interval narrower than the first interval in the first direction.
Dishwasher with dock detection
A method and a dishwasher utilize a dock detection system to determine when a connector of a spray device is docked to a docking port provided on a manifold of the dishwasher. A dock detector is coupled to the docking port and is electrically coupled to a controller of the dishwasher through electrical conductors that extend along the manifold, thereby enabling a dishwasher controller to detect when spray devices are coupled to the manifold, e.g., to optimize a wash cycle to use a particular spray device docked to the docking port.
DISHWASHER WITH TRAY
A dishwasher for treating dishes according to a cycle of operation. The dishwasher including a lower dish rack and an upper dish rack located above the lower dish rack and having an opening overlying the portion of the lower dish rack and a repositionable tray carried by the upper dish rack and movable between a first position and a second position relative to the opening.
REMOVABLE RACK ACCESSORY FOR A DISHWASHING APPLIANCE
A removable lid rack for a dishwashing appliance includes a body including a plurality of struts extending along the lateral direction, the plurality of struts collectively defining a plurality of apertures; a mounting portion extending from the body along the vertical direction, the mounting portion including a slide tab extending along the transverse direction; a snap hook protruding from the body along the vertical direction; and a locator hook protruding from the body along the lateral direction away from the plurality of apertures.
Dish washer and washing method using the same
A dish washer and a washing method using the dish washer. As an inner washing tub is rotated in a state where a dish or a cooking utensil is accommodated in a receiving space such that a food side thereof faces an outer circumference of an inner washing tub, food residues are detached from the dish or the cooking utensil by a centrifugal force and thus the dish or the cooking utensil is efficiently washed. The configuration for generating a high-pressure water current is not required, so that it is possible to produce products at low cost, and the configuration is relatively simple, so that it is possible to produce products having various sizes.
Domestic dishwasher
A household dishwasher includes a dishwasher cavity, and first and second rollers which are rotatably mounted in a roller holder that is fastened to the dishwasher cavity. A support element supporting a receptacle for items to be washed is movably mounted relative to the roller holder with the aid of the first roller and the second roller in such a way that the receptacle is movable between a position in which the receptacle is inserted into the dishwasher cavity and a position in which the receptacle is extracted from the dishwasher cavity. The support element has an upper running area and a lower running area, with the first roller being spaced apart downward from the upper running area and running along the lower running area, and with the second roller being spaced apart upward from the lower running area and running along the upper running area.
