A holding assembly for holding one or more stemmed objects in a dishwasher is provided. The holding assembly may include an elongated gripping unit frame and two or more gripping units arranged at the elongated gripping unit frame. The two or more gripping units may be arranged to grip a respective stemmed portion of the one or more stemmed objects. At least one of the two or more gripping units may be displaceably arranged along a longitudinal direction of the elongated gripping unit frame. The embodiments herein may also relate to a rack of a dishwasher and a dishwasher comprising a rack.

A dishwashing appliance or removable rack accessory may include a rigid upper strut, a rigid lower strut, and a plurality of intermediate struts. The rigid lower strut may be spaced apart from the rigid upper strut along a vertical direction. The plurality of intermediate struts may extend between the rigid upper and lower struts. The intermediate struts may be generally movable along a transverse direction relative to the rigid upper and lower struts. The plurality of intermediate struts and the rigid upper and lower struts may collectively define a plurality of variable apertures extending through the removable rack accessory along a lateral direction to receive one or more container lids therein.

A cutlery rack for a dishwasher includes: a rack body which is mounted so as to be withdrawn from a washing chamber of the dishwasher in a direction of withdrawal and provides a cutlery insert for accommodating in particular cutlery pieces, the cutlery insert having a row of tines for separately receiving cutlery pieces that are oriented transversely to the direction of withdrawal, which row of tines includes a plurality of tines arranged one behind another in the direction of withdrawal, adjacent tines being spaced apart from one another, forming a gap. The row of tines has two tine ridges extending in the direction of withdrawal and being spaced apart from each other transversely to the direction of withdrawal, leaving a gap space. A tine strip is provided which is received in the gap space between the two tine ridges.

A washing item receptacle for a flat washing item in a dishwasher, in particular in a domestic dishwasher, includes a base and a support element for supporting the flat washing item. The support element is configured for pivoting between a rest position arranged in a plane of the base and a support position which projects from the plane of the base, and for pivoting from the rest position into the support position by the weight of the flat washing item.

A dishwasher having a tub defining a treating chamber, a dish rack, and a spray assembly associated with the dish rack. The spray assembly may include at least one sprayer positioned to spray treating liquid onto dishes received by the rack. The sprayer has two openings and may be movable between a first position and a second position.

A dishwasher (100) is disclosed. The dishwasher includes a washing tub (130) for defining a washing space, a rack (150) provided in the washing tub (130) so as to be withdrawn from the washing tub (130) for receiving dishes, and a plurality of spraying units (132, 133, 134), for spraying wash water to the rack (150). A dishwasher according to one embodiment may comprise a storage part for storing an object to be washed. The storage part comprises: a base in which a plurality of horizontal bars and a plurality of vertical bars intersect each other; a supporter protruding from the base; and a first holder mounted to the supporter and provided so as to be rotatable with respect to the supporter, wherein the first holder may be supported by the supporter so as to maintain a posture at a set angle with respect to the supporter.

A support assembly for supporting one or more objects in a dishwasher is provided. The support assembly may include a snap arrangement with snap fittings for snapping the snap arrangement onto a rack of the dishwasher. The support assembly may include a main frame having a first side and a second side, where the first side may be provided with a soft surface structure, and where the main frame may be foldably arranged to the snap arrangement to allow the main frame to be folded between at least a supporting position and a storing position. The soft surface structure of the first side may be arranged to support a portion of the one or more objects when the main frame is in the supporting position. A dishwasher having a tub defining a treating chamber, a dish rack, and a spray assembly associated with the dish rack. The spray assembly may include at least one sprayer positioned to spray treating liquid onto dishes received by the rack. The sprayer has two openings and may be movable between a first position where the treating liquid flows through the first liquid opening into the treating chamber and does not flow through the second liquid opening and a second position where the treating liquid flows through the second liquid opening into the treating chamber. The sprayer may be rotatable between positions and may emit spray in both positions.

A selectively deployable drying rack with selectively reconfigurable components is disclosed. The drying rack includes a base and an upper rim. The drying rack further includes linkages to move the upper rim away from and toward the base and a first removable tray and a second removable tray that are configured to fit in the base. The second removable tray may include a utensil compartment with holes, an outer wall, and an inner wall. The upper rim may include a utensil band and/or a wine glass rack. The utensil band may be moveable between a stowed position and an extended position when the utensil band is in use. The wine glass rack may be moveable between a storage position and an upright position when the utensil band is in use. The drying rack may include a stand wire to elevate the base of the drying rack above a surface.
