Holding assembly

A holding assembly for holding one or more stemmed objects in a dishwasher is provided. The holding assembly may include an elongated gripping unit frame and two or more gripping units arranged at the elongated gripping unit frame. The two or more gripping units may be arranged to grip a respective stemmed portion of the one or more stemmed objects. At least one of the two or more gripping units may be displaceably arranged along a longitudinal direction of the elongated gripping unit frame. The embodiments herein may also relate to a rack of a dishwasher and a dishwasher comprising a rack.

A dishwashing appliance or removable rack accessory may include a rigid upper strut, a rigid lower strut, and a plurality of intermediate struts. The rigid lower strut may be spaced apart from the rigid upper strut along a vertical direction. The plurality of intermediate struts may extend between the rigid upper and lower struts. The intermediate struts may be generally movable along a transverse direction relative to the rigid upper and lower struts. The plurality of intermediate struts and the rigid upper and lower struts may collectively define a plurality of variable apertures extending through the removable rack accessory along a lateral direction to receive one or more container lids therein.

The row of tines has two tine ridges extending in the direction of withdrawal and being spaced apart from each other transversely to the direction of withdrawal, leaving a gap space. A tine strip is provided which is received in the gap space between the two tine ridges.

The support assembly may include a main frame having a first side and a second side, where the first side may be provided with a soft surface structure, and where the main frame may be foldably arranged to the snap arrangement to allow the main frame to be folded between at least a supporting position and a storing position. The soft surface structure of the first side may be arranged to support a portion of the one or more objects when the main frame is in the supporting position. The embodiments herein may also relate to a rack of a dishwasher and a dishwasher comprising a rack.

A dishwasher having a tub defining a treating chamber, a dish rack, and a spray assembly associated with the dish rack. The spray assembly may include at least one sprayer positioned to spray treating liquid onto dishes received by the rack. The sprayer has two openings and may be movable between a first position where the treating liquid flows through the first liquid opening into the treating chamber and does not flow through the second liquid opening and a second position where the treating liquid flows through the second liquid opening into the treating chamber. The sprayer may be rotatable between positions and may emit spray in both positions.
