Endoscope system having various combinations of light sources
An endoscope system includes a video processor device that performs signal processing on an image, and an external device that is removably connected to the video processor device and can record light source correspondence information that corresponds to multiple light sources. The video processor device acquires light source correspondence information from the external device and performs signal processing that corresponds to the light source correspondence information.
Improved Laparoscopic Camera System and Apparatus
The invention resides in a laparoscope, or camera, for a medical procedure, having a body having a distal end for locating in a patient and a proximal end for handling the laparoscope outside the patient. A camera is provided together with a light source at the distal end. An operable interface is provided adjacent the proximal end, for operating the camera and/or light source. A processor and data storage are located in the body and operable to provide an interface for managing the camera, light source and recording images. The laparoscopic camera can be self-contained such that it is operable without cables or external support devices. It can manage image recording, calibration and storage all within the camera. The invention also resides in a case for use with the laparoscope.
Endoscopic system and image processing device
An endoscopic system includes an endoscope that obtains image information inside a subject; a first recording medium into which the image information obtained from the endoscope is written; a second recording medium that has a table in which a recording condition for writing the image information obtained from the endoscope into the first recording medium has been recorded; and a controller that obtains, on the basis of an operation time period obtained from the endoscope, a recording condition associated with the obtained operation time period from among the plurality of recording conditions recorded in the table that the second recording medium has, and records the image information in the first recording medium under the recording condition.
MEDICAL BORESCOPES AND RELATED TIP ASSEMBLIES
Laparoscopes and other medical borescopes. In some embodiments, a laparoscope may comprise an electrically conductive portion and a shield portion configured to provide electromagnetic interference shielding for the electrically conductive portion. A tip assembly may be positioned at a distal end of the laparoscope, which tip assembly may comprise an image sensor configured to take images through a distal end of the laparoscope.
MEDICAL BORESCOPES AND RELATED TIP ASSEMBLIES
Medical borescopes and related methods. In some embodiments, a medical borescope may comprise a handle and a tube extending from the handle. The tube may be partially, or wholly, defined by an at least substantially non-conductive material, such as a suitable plastic, ceramic, or other non-metallic material. The borescope may further comprise a tip assembly positioned at a distal end of the tube, which may comprise an image sensor configured to take images through the distal end of the tube.
PRIORITIZATION OF THREE DIMENSIONAL DENTAL ELEMENTS
Systems and methods for prioritization of three dimensional dental elements. The systems and methods may include displaying a perspective of a 3D digital model such that a portion of a second object is behind a first object, where the first object has a higher priority than the second object. The portion of the second object behind the first object may not be viewable through the first object and a reference point on the portion of the second object may not be selectable. The priority may be changed such that the second object has a higher priority than the first object, where once the priority is changed, that the portion of the second object behind the first object may be viewable through the first object and the reference point on the second object is selectable by the user.
A tip assembly may be positioned at a distal end of the tube. The tip assembly may comprise a light source, a lens assembly, a printed circuit board, and an image sensor.
PED-ENDOSCOPE IMAGE AND DIAGNOSIS CAPTURE SYSTEM
A personal electronic device (PED)endoscope image and diagnosis capture system is provided. The system includes a PED adapter having a magnification lens connection side and a PED connection side. A magnification lens is connectable with the lens connection side of the PED adapter. An eyepiece lens coupler is also provided and connects the magnification lens to the endoscope eyepiece. A PED is connected to the PED adapter and includes a processor, a memory and an image capture system with a PED lens. The PED adapter aligns the magnification lens with the PED lens. The processor is configured to activate the image capture system using a remote or voice-activated trigger signal and store captured images in the PED memory. Patient data and examination data can be associated with the images, and the images and data can be transferred from the PED to an electronic medical records system.
BATTERY-POWERED MEDICAL APPARATUS
A processor first executes activation through a first program stored in a main memory when there is an activation instruction, a switching unit switches a program from the first program to a second program in sub memory when activation through the first program is impossible within a first period of time, and the processor halts power supply from the battery when activation through the second program is impossible within a second period of time.
ENDOSCOPE APPARATUS AND MEASURING METHOD
An endoscope apparatus includes an image sensor configured to pick up an image of an object, a display configured to display an endoscope image acquired by picking up the image of the object by means of the image sensor, and a controller configured to read, from a memory, measurement positions for measuring the object and display the measurement positions with the endoscope image on the display.
