A magnification lens is connectable with the lens connection side of the PED adapter. An eyepiece lens coupler is also provided and connects the magnification lens to the endoscope eyepiece. A PED is connected to the PED adapter and includes a processor, a memory and an image capture system with a PED lens. The PED adapter aligns the magnification lens with the PED lens. The processor is configured to activate the image capture system using a remote or voice-activated trigger signal and store captured images in the PED memory. Patient data and examination data can be associated with the images, and the images and data can be transferred from the PED to an electronic medical records system.
MEDICAL SYSTEM
To provide a medical system that is easy to confirm a display screen and easy to switch an image. A medical camera 2 is connected to a first input terminal 14a of a switching device 6. A medical image output device 4 for outputting a medical image is connected to a second input terminal 14b. An HMD 10 mounted on a face of a user is connected to a first output terminal 16a. An external monitor 12 is connected to a second output terminal 16b. Initially, a medical image from the medical image output device 4 is output and displayed on the HMD 10. A camera image from the medical camera 2 is output and displayed on the external monitor 12. When a control switch 66 is operated, images displayed on the HMD 10 and the external monitor 12 may be switched.
MEDICAL BORESCOPES AND RELATED TIP ASSEMBLIES
Medical borescopes and related methods. In some embodiments, a medical borescope may comprise a handle and a tube extending from the handle. The tube may be partially, or wholly, defined by an at least substantially non-conductive material, such as a suitable plastic, ceramic, or other non-metallic material. A tip assembly may be positioned at a distal end of the tube. The tip assembly may comprise a light source, a lens assembly, a printed circuit board, and an image sensor.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An image processing apparatus includes: a three-dimensional model structuring section configured to generate, when an image pickup signal related to a region in a subject is inputted from an image pickup apparatus configured to pick up an image of an inside of the subject, three-dimensional data representing a shape of the region based on the image pickup signal; and an image generation section configured to perform, on the three-dimensional data generated by the three-dimensional model structuring section, processing of allowing visual recognition of a boundary region between a structured region that is a region, an image of which is picked up by the image pickup apparatus, and an unstructured region that is a region, an image of which is yet to be picked up by the image pickup apparatus, and generate a three-dimensional image.
Visual inspection device
A visual inspection device includes a body having a support portion and a grip portion extending from the support portion. The device also includes a flexible cable having a first end portion coupled to the body and a second end portion, and a camera assembly coupled to the second end portion of the flexible cable. The camera assembly includes an image sensor operable to transmit image data through the flexible cable. The device further includes a display supported by the support portion of the body. The display is electrically connected to the flexible cable to display image date from the image sensor. The device is powered by a rechargeable battery pack removably coupled to the body.
Medical borescopes and related methods and systems
Borescopes and related methods. In some embodiments, a medical borescope system may comprise a medical borescope comprising a tube comprising a first tube end and a second tube end opposite from the first tube end; a light source positioned adjacent to the first tube end and configured to generate light at the first tube end; an image sensor positioned adjacent to the first tube end. The system may further comprise a data communication link coupled with the image sensor and a dongle comprising an image processor configured to receive image data from the image sensor that is removably coupleable with the medical borescope such that the dongle can be coupled with a plurality of distinct medical borescopes. The dongle may be configured to at least one of receive and detect borescope-specific parameter data from the medical borescope, wherein the borescope-specific parameter data comprises data unique to the medical borescope.
Video recording and image capture device
A video recording and image capture device for documenting surgical procedures that includes a main board for executing a plurality of software, a multimedia interface operable to receive a video signal and process it into an MPEG layer stream, the video interface connected on a first bus to the main board, a hard drive to record an MPEG layer stream as a file, an optical media drive to write an MPEG layer stream as a file, the hard drive and the optical media drive operably connected on a second bus, the bus being vertically stacked and connected to the main board, and a touchscreen interactive for user control, connected to the main board on a second bus to control the video interface.
PRIORITIZATION OF THREE DIMENSIONAL DENTAL ELEMENTS
The present disclosure includes methods, systems, and devices for prioritization of three dimensional dental elements. One method for prioritizing three dimensional dental elements includes receiving a virtual initial dental data set (IDDS) of teeth having spatial information regarding the positions of a number of teeth in the virtual IDDS with respect to each other for presentation of the teeth in a virtual three dimensional space to be viewed on a user interface, setting prioritization values of a number of elements of one or more of the number of teeth, and prioritizing the number of elements to be selected by a user based upon their prioritization values.
TOOLS FOR IMPLANTATION AND EXTRACTION OF ARTICIAL DISCS
A hand manipulated endoscopic medical device is disclosed. The medical device includes a body having a proximal end, which is hand manipulated, and a distal end which includes a manipulator. A light emitting device is centrally disposed at the distal end. An imaging device is centrally disposed at the distal end for imaging at least a portion of the region illuminated by the light emitting device.
