A device for controlling an endoscope to rotate, relating to the technical field of non-destructive inspection, comprises a display device, a control assembly, a coiler and a lens, and further comprises a drive assembly disposed at a joint of the coiler and the lens, and electrically connected to the control assembly to allow users to adjust the angle of the lens by controlling the drive assembly. The drive assembly comprises: a low-speed drive element disposed at an end, away from the display device, of the coiler, and a rotating lever connected to an output shaft of the low-speed drive element. The lens is disposed on a side, away from the low-speed drive element, of the rotating lever. The low-speed drive element is a low-speed motor. The lens comprises a lateral lens and a front lens. The device for controlling an endoscope to rotate has the following advantages: the lens can be rotated to a suitable inspection position without manual operation or other auxiliary location devices, the display angle can be adjusted, using is convenient, and operation is easy.

MODULAR MEDICAL DEVICES AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME

A medical device that includes a first body including a first actuation member including a first connector and a second actuation member. The medical device includes a second body for attachment to, and detachment from, the first body. The second body including an actuation wire, a second connector at a proximal end of the actuation wire, and a valve having one or more channels for receiving a material. Attachment of the first body with the second body results in the first connector engaging the second connector, such that movement of the first actuation member causes a corresponding movement of the actuation wire. Moving the second actuation member into the second body to interact with the valve is configured to selectively direct the material through the one or more channels.

STEERABLE SHEATH AND ADJUSTABLE SCOPE ATTACHMENT

A system comprising an adjustable mount arm, a bronchoscope coupled to the adjustable mount arm, an attachment coupled to the bronchoscope, and a steerable sheath coupled to the attachment and configured to be inserted through the bronchoscope. The system further includes a flexible probe configured to be inserted through the steerable sheath and the bronchoscope.

An endoscope includes an insertion part and an operation part. The operation part is consecutively provided at the insertion part. A bendable portion is provided at a distal end portion of the insertion part so as to be bendable. An operation part-side operation member is provided at a distal end portion of the operation part and has an operation part-side protruding portion. An insertion part-side operation member is provided at a proximal end portion of the insertion part and has an insertion part-side protruding portion and finger rest protruding portions, and the insertion part-side protruding portion and the operation part-side protruding portion indicate a rotational movement position of the insertion part with respect to the operation part.

ENDOSCOPE

An endoscope includes a pulley provided in an operation portion, having an outer diameter larger than an inner diameter of an endoscope insertion portion, and configured to wind a wire connected to a bending portion; and a wire guard that is arranged to cover a predetermined range of an outer peripheral portion of the pulley, and includes a guide wall arranged to extend within a range of a radius of the pulley from a contact point position at which the wire in contact with the pulley is separated from the pulley in a longitudinal axis direction of the operation portion. The wire guard includes two members each formed in a substantially semicircular plate shape, and coupling parts formed in arc shapes extending from both end portions of the two members and configured to couple the two members.

MEDICAL DEVICE WITH EXTENDABLE SHAFT

A medical device may comprise a handle, a first shaft extending from a distal end of the handle, and a second shaft extending a lumen of the first shaft. The handle may further include a first actuator and a second actuator. The first shaft may include (1) a plurality of lumens extending therethrough, (2) a distal face, and (3) a longitudinal axis. Actuation of the first actuator may articulate a distal portion of the first shaft. The second shaft may be axially movable relative to the first shaft such that the second shaft extends out of a distal opening of the first lumen and distally of the distal face. Actuation of the second actuator may articulate a distal portion of the second shaft.

Digital-based medical devices

A skin measuring microscope includes a housing, an electronic imager disposed along an imaging axis, and an illumination system. The illumination system includes a plurality of LEDs disposed in a ring-like configuration adjacent a distal end of the housing.

Steerable endoscope with motion alignment

A steerable endoscope is provided with active steering control. An endoscope includes a flexible tubular body with first and second articulating segments, and a camera. In an embodiment, the endoscope includes an orientation sensor. A controller for the endoscope performs an automated analysis of an alignment between the motion axis of the endoscope and the viewing axis of the camera, and actively steers the endoscope to improve the alignment.
