INSERTION/REMOVAL SUPPORTING APPARATUS AND INSERTION/REMOVAL SUPPORTING METHOD
A supporting apparatus for supporting insertion of a flexible insertion member is provided. In the supporting apparatus, an attention point acquisition unit specifies a first attention point specified by a shape of the insertion member. A first displacement acquisition unit acquires a first displacement, which is a positional change of the first attention point. A second displacement acquisition unit acquires a second displacement of a second attention point. A displacement information calculation unit compares the first displacement of the first attention point and the second displacement of the second attention point with each other and calculates displacement information. A determination unit determines state of the insertion member or the subject, based on the displacement information.
DENTAL INTRAORAL SCANNER SYSTEM
The present invention generally relates to a dental intraoral scanner system. In detail, the present invention includes: a scan unit sequentially imaging an intraoral structure in a scan mode; a control unit generating a three-dimensional modeling image for each scan mode by using the imaged intraoral structure; and a display unit displaying the three-dimensional modeling image, wherein the control unit switches the scan unit from a present scan mode to a following scan mode according to a user's command that is input through the scanning unit, or automatically switches from the present scan mode to the following scan mode when a three-dimensional modeling image of the present scan mode is completed.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
An information processing apparatus (2000) detects an abnormal region (30) from a moving image frame (14). The abnormal region (30) is a region that is estimated to represent an abnormal part inside a body of a subject. The information processing apparatus (2000) generates and outputs output information based on the number of detected abnormal regions (30).
Medical image processing system, endoscope system, diagnosis support apparatus, and medical service support apparatus
A region-of-interest detection unit detects the region of interest including the target of interest among an observation target, from the medical image. An overlooking determination unit determines whether a user overlooks the target of interest. A monitor includes a first screen which displays a video of the medical image and displays the region of interest, and a second screen which is a screen different from the first screen and displays the region of interest. An overlooking notification control unit performs a control of an overlooking occurrence notification in a case where it is determined that the target of interest is overlooked.
Method and system for displaying an endoscope video on a display having a lower resolution than the endoscope video
Embodiments described herein provide various examples of displaying an endoscope video of an endoscope resolution on a display having a screen resolution lower than the endoscope resolution. In one aspect, a process of displaying the endoscope video on the display can begin by displaying a portion of the endoscope video having the same resolution as the screen resolution on the display. While displaying the portion of the endoscope video, the process detects a surgical tool present in an off-screen portion of the endoscope video not visible on the display, and therefore not visible to the user. The process further analyzes the off-screen portion of the endoscope video including the detected surgical tool. The process subsequently generates an alert when a risk of the detected surgical tool is identified.
METHOD OF GRAPHICALLY TAGGING AND RECALLING IDENTIFIED STRUCTURES UNDER VISUALIZATION FOR ROBOTIC SURGERY
A system and method for augmenting an endoscopic display during a medical procedure including capturing a real-time image of a working space within a body cavity during a medical procedure. A feature of interest in the image is identified to the system using a user input handle of a surgical robotic system, and a graphical tag is displayed on the image marking the feature.
Capsule endoscope system determining operation of display and position detection
A capsule endoscope system includes: a capsule endoscope; a receiving unit that receives an image signal of an object transmitted wirelessly from the capsule endoscope; an image display unit that displays an image based on the image signal received by the receiving unit; a position detection unit that detects a position of the capsule endoscope; and a control unit having a first determination unit that determines whether normal display of the image based on the image signal is possible and having a second determination unit that determines whether normal position detection for the capsule endoscope is possible by the position detection unit. The control unit causes the image display unit to start display of the image based on the image signal when the normal display of the image based on the image signal is possible and the normal position detection for the capsule endoscope is possible.
CAPSULE ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING CAPSULE ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
A capsule endoscope system including: a capsule endoscope including an imaging sensor configured to capture an image of inside of a subject at a changeable imaging frame rate and generate an image signal, and an image transmitter configured to transmit a wireless signal including the image signal; and a receiving device including a first and a second antennas configured to receive the wireless signal, a receiver configured to detect a first reception intensity and a second reception intensity, a controller configured to generate a first instruction signal that changes the imaging frame rate to a first value higher than an initial value that is set in advance when the first or the second reception intensity satisfies a predetermined condition, and a transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit the first instruction signal to the capsule endoscope.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING USER FEEDBACK INDICATIONS DURING INTRA-ORAL SCANNING PROCESS
An intra-oral scanning system includes a hand piece having a scanning head with one or more projectors for projecting light onto an oral region and image sensors for detecting reflected light in the oral region. A computer system is operatively connected to the hand piece for receiving data from the image sensors. The data is representative of a scanned area in the oral region. The computer system images a 3D representation of the scanned area and a display assembly operatively connected to the computer system displays the 3D representation of the scanned area. A transducer operatively connected to the computer system emits a visual, audible and/or vibratory signal that provides information related to a status of the scanning system.
System for monitoring and diagnosing sleep-disordered breathing by using drug induced sleep endoscopy and method for monitoring and diagnosing sleep-disordered breathing
A monitoring and diagnosing system includes a position indication instruction device, an endoscope equipment, and an image integrated monitoring device. The system may be capable of increasing reliability of a test by performing drug induced sleep endoscopy while changing, in a predetermined order, a body position of a patient so as to examine sleep-disordered breathing.
