STOPCOCK, PLUG FOR A STOPCOCK, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PLUG FOR A STOPCOCK
In order to flush away local bleeding during surgery with a medical instrument, the instruments are commonly provided with a flushing device. In order to be able to control an inflow and outflow of a flushing liquid, the instruments have a stopcock. In order to achieve the sealing action of the stopcock, the plugs of the stopcock have to be formed with a very high degree of precision. The known production processes for such plugs are very cumbersome and cost-intensive. This provides a plug for a stopcock and a stopcock and a method for producing a plug, by way of which the stated problem is eliminated. This is achieved in that a plug, with a grip part and a cone part, is formed in one part and can be produced in a single process step.
COMPACT MULTI-VIEWING ELEMENT ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
The present specification is directed towards endoscopes, such as colonoscopes, that provide a broader field of view and allow extended access of surgical tools and also enable efficient packing of all necessary elements in the tip section, while maintaining their functionality. Also described are methods and systems for capturing and displaying still and video images using an endoscope corresponding to a left-side looking, a front-looking and a right-side looking viewing element of an endoscopic tip generated in a native aspect ratio.
Endoscope system, and leak detection processing method and leak detection processing apparatus for endoscope
An endoscope system includes a valve configured to keep an internal space of an endoscope airtight, an air pump configured to open and close the valve by applying a negative pressure and a positive pressure, a pressure sensor configured to detect a pressure at a time of the negative pressure and the positive pressure being applied, and a control section configured to receive a detection signal from the pressure sensor, and perform drive control of the air pump.
CONDUIT SWITCHING PISTON, AND ENDOSCOPE
A conduit switching piston is provided that includes a shaft member, a plurality of seal portions, a pair of flat portions, and a connecting portion that is configured to connect two seal portions among the plurality of seal portions which are adjacent along the extending direction of the shaft member, and that is formed on the pair of flat portions integrally with the seal portions.
SUCTION VALVE
A suction valve stem, a suction valve, an endoscopic valve kit, and a method for molding a stem are provided. The suction valve stem includes: a button head, and a stem body connecting to the button head. The stem body includes: an air passage through the center bore, a recessed slot, disposed on the stem body below the button head and above the side opening, a sealing area, disposed on the stem body below the side opening, and a flat, disposed on the stem body. The air passage includes a side opening disposed on side surface of the stem body and a bottom opening disposed at a bottom end of the stem body. The recessed slot is disposed 90 degrees from the side opening. The flat is disposed 90 degrees from the side opening and has a fluid communication to the bottom end of the stem body.
PART OF ITEM CONTAINER FOR MEDICAL DEVICE, ITEM CONTAINER FOR MEDICAL DEVICE, MEDICAL DEVICE STORAGE PACK, AND ITEM FOR MEDICAL DEVICE
A part of an item container for a medical device includes a bulging-shape portion for storing an item for a medical device, a flange, a protruding-shape portion, and a concave portion provided in contact with the bulging-shape portion. The protruding-shape portion is arranged at a position spaced apart from the bulging-shape portion in a second direction, and is provided to extend in an elongated manner in a third direction different from the second direction.
Stopcock
A stopcock for a channel that guides a flux medium in a medical endoscope, the stopcock having a housing accommodating a plug rotatable about an axis in a conical seat penetrated by the channel, wherein the housing has a bearing collar adjacent to the conical seat in the direction of the axis, in which bearing collar a handle body is mounted to be rotatable about the axis, the handle body supporting a handle outside the housing and rotationally coupled to the plug displaceable in direction of the axis and resiliently supported relative thereto, wherein the handle body has a radially elastic detent device engaging a circumferential inner groove of the bearing collar to be locking in direction of the axis, wherein the plug is arranged and configured bring the detent device out of engagement with the bearing collar upon displacement in direction of the axis into an unlocked position.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR ENDOSCOPIC VALVES
Various embodiments are generally directed to devices, systems, and methods for controlling the flow of fluids in endoscopic systems, such as endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) enabled endoscopes. Some embodiments are particularly directed to valve sets and/or valve interface mechanisms for controlling air and water flow through a valve well for an endoscopic system. Several embodiments are directed to user interface mechanisms and techniques for enabling an operator to interact with and control endoscope valves. In one or more embodiments, manufacture of the valve sets and/or valve interface mechanisms, collectively referred to as flow controllers, may be simplified, such as to make it economical to dispose of the flow controller after a single use.
Tissue resection system
A surgical system can include a first instrument defining a first channel and a second instrument receivable by the first channel. The second instrument can include a second channel. A valve coupled to the first instrument controls fluid flow through the first channel. The valve has at least two positions and in one position, the impedance of fluid flow through the valve into the first channel (when the second instrument is not received in the first channel) is substantially the same as when the valve is the other position and the first channel partially blocked by the second instrument. In another aspect, a surgical system can include an outer member and the first instrument can be received within the outer member to define a second channel there between. The first instrument can include a visualization system and an illumination system.
AN ENDOSURGICAL DEVICE
A multi-functional endosurgical device (1) comprises a tube (3), an end effector (21), and a device operating part (4). The tube (3) several lengthwise extending channels (9) for supplying a liquid and suction to the end effector (21) and to apply current to perform diathermy. A slide rail assembly (5) comprises at a main slide guide body (46) that accommodates an end effector slider (47) and a junction slider (48). The end effector slider (47) slides in the guideway (54) and is connected to the effector sleeve (17) through one of the lengthwise extending channels to operate said effector sleeve (17) in relation to the end effector. The junction slider (48) also slides in the guideway (54) downstream the end effector slider (47).
