An endoscope eyepiece grasping mechanism includes a base part engaging a tab member via a connected engagement member. An annular part has an outer engagement surface and an inner camming surface disposed coaxially with the base part and axially moveable relative to the base part. The engagement surface is moveable with the camming surface to move the tab member radially outwardly, with a movement of the annular part relative to the base part in a first axial direction, toward a receiving position, and to move the tab member radially inwardly, with movement of the annular part relative to the base part in a second axial direction, toward a grasping position. A biasing device acts to bias the annular part toward the grasping position. An endoscope eyepiece is engaged by the tab member upon the annular part moving from the receiving position to the grasping position.

GRASPING MECHANISM FOR SIDE-LOADING OPTICAL ENDOSCOPES AND ENDOSCOPE CAMERA HEAD WITH ENDOSCOPE EYEPIECE GRASPING MECHANISM

An endoscope eyepiece grasping mechanism includes a base part with an arcuate wall portion defining a base part wall opening between the base part arcuate wall portion circumferential ends and a rotatable part with a rotatable arcuate wall portion defining a rotatable part arcuate wall opening between the rotatable arcuate wall portion circumferential ends. A path guide rotates and axially moves the rotatable part relative to the base part between an open and closes state. A biasing device acts to bias the rotatable part toward the closed state, whereby an endoscope eyepiece may be pushed through an endoscope eyepiece side opening to a coupled position in the open state and the rotatable part rotates to the closed state and moves axially toward the base to retain the eyepiece in the coupled position.

ARTHROSCOPIC TOOL ATTACHMENT WITH OBJECT SEPARATOR
20220395172 · 2022-12-15 ·

An attachment apparatus to an arthroscopic tool, comprising at one axial distal end of the attachment, a slider end collar of tubular cross section with a hook or fastening provision at one axial distal end of said slider end collar to connect to a force applicator and, rigidly attached at the other axial distal end of the slider end collar, are at least two pairs of substantially rod-like, closely located structures termed “sliders,” wherein each pair of said sliders are tangentially situated at opposite ends of the slider end collar and extends away from the slider end collar into channels or grooves of a slider guide sleeve with tubular cross section, wherein one distal end of the slider guide sleeve is at least a pair of cutouts for a plurality of lifting tabs placed at opposite radial distal ends along the circumference of the slider guide sleeve.

PHYSICIAN-CONTROLLED HANDLE FOR MEDICAL DEVICES

A medical device includes a handle that includes a handle body longitudinally extending from a proximal end to a distal end; a distal connector configured to connect to a proximal end of an elongate outer member; a lumen longitudinally extending through the handle body, the lumen configured to have an elongate inner member movably disposed therein, and to permit the elongate inner member to distally extend past the distal end to within the elongate outer member and to proximally extend past the proximal end; and an inner member controller configured to longitudinally move relative to the handle body to control movement of the elongate inner member relative to the elongate outer member. The handle may be a distal handle of the medical device, which further includes a proximal handle. Both handles may control movement of the elongate inner and outer members.

Laryngoscope with blade locking mechanism

A laryngoscope assembly having a handle for connection with a laryngoscope blade and wherein the handle includes an additional mechanism for securing the blade to the handle. A locking mechanism is a spring provided for holding the blade in position on the handle and preventing side to side movement of the blade with respect to the handle.

ENDOSCOPE TUBULAR CONNECTOR AND ENDOSCOPE

An endoscope tubular connector includes: a connection joint including a through-hole; and a tubular portion that is formed of a material softer than the connection joint and that has one end arranged in the through-hole of the connection joint. The through-hole of the connection joint and a through-hole of the tubular portion are formed such that the through-holes are connected to each other, and an outer circumference of the tubular portion is arranged on an inner side with respect to an inner circumference of the connection joint.

Endoscope connecting tube, liquid feeding apparatus, and endoscope reprocessing method
11517190 · 2022-12-06 · ·

An endoscope connecting tube includes a liquid feeding index including: an exterior; an exposure hole provided on the exterior; and a flow path; and a movable member that is brought into a convex warp state toward a surface direction of the exterior when an inner pressure of a flow path reaches a predetermined value or higher, and remains in the convex warp state even when the inner pressure of the flow path reaches less than the predetermined value; and a marker that projects from the exposure hole by the movable member being brought into the convex warp state; a releasing portion that releases the convex warp state of the movable member by causing the marker to slide and push the movable member; and an insertion path into which the releasing portion is inserted.
