Mouth mirror apparatus
A mouth mirror apparatus includes a carrier seat that has first and second receiving spaces and multiple outlet passages embedded in a surrounding wall and intercommunicating the first and second receiving spaces. The mouth mirror apparatus further includes a handle grip cooperating with the carrier seat to define an air inlet passage that communicates with the second receiving space, a mirror body rotatably disposed in the first receiving space, and an impeller connected to the mirror body and driven by air which flows from the air inlet passage. Through combination of the mirror body, the impeller, and the arrangement of the air outlet passages, the mouth mirror apparatus can direct air current to render different functions.

DEFFOGGING OF PROTECTIVE SLEEVE FOR INTRAORAL SCANNER
An intraoral scanning device comprises a housing having a longitudinal axis and comprising a head configured for insertion into an oral cavity of a patient, the head comprising an aperture for transmission of optical signals, a transparent element positioned within the aperture, wherein the transparent element is non-orthogonal to the longitudinal axis, and a defogging unit comprising a heating unit. A protective sleeve is configured to cover at least a part of the head and comprises an additional aperture that aligns with the aperture and an additional transparent element in the additional aperture. A gap separates the additional transparent element from the transparent element when the protective sleeve is coupled to the housing. The housing and the protective sleeve are configured such that heat generated by the heating unit is transferred from the heating unit to the additional transparent element despite the gap that separates the additional transparent element from the transparent element.
Digital dental tray for dental arch model generation
A system comprises a dental tray comprising an array of cameras, wherein each camera of the first array of cameras has a fixed position and orientation relative to one or more other camera of the array of cameras. The system further comprises a processing device to receive a plurality of images generated by the array of cameras, stitch the plurality of images together based on calibration data specifying predetermined image stitching parameters for combining the plurality of images, wherein the predetermined image stitching parameters are based on predetermined fixed relative positions and orientations of cameras from the array of cameras, and generate a three-dimensional model of a plurality of teeth based on the stitched plurality of images.

Tip for an optical scanner
Disclosed is a tip for an optical scanner, where said tip comprises a framework and an optical element. For some configurations the optical element is releasable attaching to the framework by a holding means of the tip. For some configurations the tip framework is formed in two materials of different thermal conductivities.

SINGLE-PIECE SUCTION MIRROR
A dental suction mirror for suctioning liquids and particles from an oral cavity includes a tubular hollow main body having inner and outer surfaces, a longitudinal axis, a connection opening for a tube, and a suction opening. The inner surface has a mirror that can be observed at least in some regions through the suction opening, and has a mirror surface and a rear side. The main body is configured as a single piece and includes, in its inner surface in the suction opening region, a mirror receptacle configured as a recess and in which the mirror is held in a locking manner. A method for producing a suction mirror includes at least manufacturing a base body with a mirror-accommodating portion and inserting the mirror by pressing it into the mirror-accommodating portion such that an elastic upper retaining shoulder is pressed outwards and contacts an upper face thereof.
