A system for monitoring a health status of a person, includes a mobile terminal configured to display the status and in wireless communication with a first sensor attached to one leg of the person to acquire first information relating to a state of the one leg, and a second sensor attached to a part of a body of the person other than said one leg to acquire second information relating to a state of the part, and a server in communication with the terminal to acquire the first and second information from the sensors. The server is configured to compare the first and second information and determine a blood vessel state of said one leg based on its difference, and transmit to the terminal information indicating the blood vessel state. The mobile terminal is configured to update the status based on the information.

MULTI-MODAL SENSING WEARABLE DEVICE FOR PHYSIOLOGICAL CONTEXT MEASUREMENT

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide techniques and configurations for an apparatus for a user's physiological context measurements. In one instance, the apparatus may include a processing block and first and second piezoelectric sensors coupled with the processing block. The first and second sensors may include respectively first and second electrodes to provide contact with a user's body in response to mounting of the apparatus on the user's body. The processing block may comprise a multi-modal sensing system configured to perform measurements of a user's physiological context during the contact of the user's body with the first and second electrodes, based at least in part on a voltage signal generated by the user's body and provided to the processing block via the first and second electrodes. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

The communication interface is positioned along a communication link between a first sensor, which is configured to measure aortic blood pressure and to provide a signal representing measured aortic blood pressure, and a central monitoring device configured to monitor the measured aortic blood pressure. The communication interface includes a connection to the communication link that permits the communication interface to eavesdrop on the signal representing measured aortic blood pressure such that information representing measured aortic blood pressure is sent to the receiver while allowing the central monitoring device to receive and use the signal representing measured aortic blood pressure.

WEARABLE OCULAR SURFACE TEMPERATURE MONITOR APPARATUS AND A SYSTEM USING THE SAME

A wearable ocular surface temperature monitor apparatus used to measure ocular surface temperatures can be mounted around on eye sockets or can be engaged with glasses. The apparatus comprises a frame and an ocular temperature monitor modular disposed on the frame. The ocular temperature monitor modular further includes a plurality of temperature sensors, a signal processing circuit and a transceiver circuit. The temperature sensors are aligned with ocular surfaces for measuring temperatures. The wireless transceiver circuit reads and records the electrical signals output from the temperature sensors, and outwards wirelessly transmits them by the transceiver circuit.
