The catheter shaft may have an opening and an expandable structure surrounding the opening to provide a field of view of the intracavitary tissue for the array of sensors through the opening. The system may include a software-based programming system run on a computer such that a clinician may review information indicative of temperature of the intracavitary tissue, and be alerted if the temperature exceeds a predetermined threshold.

SMART MIRROR AND PLATFORM

A system for determining biological information of a subject includes a surface configured to display an image of a subject positioned in front of the surface, a sensor configured to identify data of the subject, and an analysis and control unit configured to analyse the data and determine biological information of the subject based on the data.

System and method for in-rumen monitoring

A system for monitoring digestive efficiency within the rumen of one or more ruminant animals comprises rumen boluses shaped and sized to be retained within the rumen dorsal sac and each comprising temperature, pH sensor, and redox sensors, and a wireless transmitter. A processor is arranged to derive from the sensor data one or more parameters indicative of animal digestive efficiency including any combination of one or more of hydrogen scale (rH), partial pressure of hydrogen (pp[H.sub.2]), oxygen fugacity (f(O.sub.2)) and free energy of the system (ΔG). A method and bolus are also claimed.

Provided are a child health management system and a child health management method. A child health management system according to one embodiment of the present invention is a child health management system using a user terminal, which comprises: a storage unit for storing condition information of a child and surrounding environment information of the child, transmitted from the user terminal; a health condition analysis unit for analyzing the health condition of the child on the basis of the condition information and surrounding environment information of the child, stored in the storage unit; and a response strategy deduction unit for deducing a user's response strategy according to the analysis result from the health condition analysis unit.

RECTAL PROBE SYSTEM FOR DETECTING, MONITORING, AND TREATING HEAT STROKE
20170258334 · 2017-09-14 ·

Systems and methods are described for detecting heat stroke and monitoring cooling treatment of heat stroke. The system includes a rectal temperature probe including a flexible length and an indicator positioned on the flexible length to indicate when the probe has been inserted to a target insertion depth. A controller is configured to receive a signal from the probe indicative of a sensed temperature and to determine whether heat stroke is likely based on the sensed temperature. When monitoring cooling treatment, a cooling rate is calculated based on periodically sensed temperatures and, based on the calculated cooling rate, the system indicates whether the heat stroke is being adequately treated or if the current treatment methods are insufficient.

Connected dental device

A system for providing a connected dental device is disclosed. In particular, the system may include integrating a network chip or transceiver into a dental device, such as a toothbrush, so as to enable the dental device to communicate with a user device and one or more accessory devices. Once the user device and one or more accessory devices are paired with the user device, the system may track information associated with the dental device and the user using the dental device. Based on the tracked information, the system may determine an action to be performed by the user using the dental device. Using the dental device, the system may transmit a notification to the user device to alert the user of the action that needs to be performed. The system may also transmit notifications providing status information for the dental device and the one or more accessory devices.

Embodiments relate to systems and methods for gas delivery for personal medical consumption having safety features. A hydrogen or oxygen gas delivery system herein can include electrolytic cores performing electrolysis-based reactions, and obtain free hydrogen (H2) gas for collection and delivery to a user. In aspects, the electrolytic core(s) can be scaled to produce a sufficient amount of hydrogen (H2) or oxygen (O2) gas so that the user can ingest that gas directly, without a need for storage. The system can be portable, and configured with a delivery tube for transmitting hydrogen or oxygen gas to a user. While safety risks are generally minimal, the system can be configured with sensors to detect fault conditions or hazards such as combustion or overpressure, which can only be caused by deliberate user action to expose gaseous products to flame or spark, and even then would not be likely to trigger violent combustion.
