Medical monitoring analysis and replay including indicia responsive to light attenuated by body tissue

The present disclosure includes a medical monitoring hub as the center of monitoring for a monitored patient. The hub is configured to receive and process a plurality of physiological parameters associated with the patient. The hub includes advanced analytical presentation views configured to provide timely, clinically-relevant, actionable information to care providers. In certain embodiments, the monitoring hub stores and is able to replay previously presented data reflective of the patient's condition.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POST-OPERATIVE ANASTOMOTIC LEAK DETECTION

A tissue monitoring system includes a sensor, a sensor reader, and at least one computing device. The sensor is releasably coupled to a staple by a tether and is configured to measure a physiological parameter of tissue and convert the measurement into a signal. The sensor reader is configured to receive the signal from the sensor and the at least one computing device is configured to receive the signal from the sensor reader and process the signal into physiological data. The sensor is implanted in tissue by the staple.

An information monitoring device for monitoring information includes a temperature sensor that detects a body temperature from a person, a detection controller that performs control on the temperature sensor so that the temperature sensor repeats detection of the body temperature, a holding member that attaches the temperature sensor to the person to hold the temperature sensor, and an optical sensor that detects removal of the temperature sensor from the person.

NON-INVASIVE THERMOMETRY APPARATUS

A thermometry apparatus used during hyperthermia therapy, which has a mat that can be used in combination with a non-invasive thermometry system. The mat has a top face and a bottom face. Between the top face and the bottom face are embedded wires. The wires provide skin and treatment head thermal information based on the thermal coefficient of resistance of the wires or via two metals in a thermocouple configuration. The mat is placed between the skin and an ultrasound head. The mat is flexible enough to conform to the patient’s body shape at the treatment point. The mat may be used in combination with an infrared camera, where at least one IR camera is pointed at a semi perpendicular angle to the mat, whereby the IR camera measures the temperature directly from the mat side and continually below the ultrasound head providing thermal depth measurements.

Event-based responder dispatch

Dispatch-aiding communications between computing devices of a responder and a dispatch unit include a computing device of the responder determining that an event occurred, automatically sending an indication of the event to a computing device of the dispatch unit, receiving a request for information from the computing device of the dispatch unit, obtaining the information requested by the computing device of the dispatch unit, and sending the information requested by the computing device of the dispatch unit to the computing device of the dispatch unit. The computing device of the dispatch unit sends the request for information to the computing device of the responder in response to receiving the indication of the event.

OnScene command vision

Embodiments use holographic projection in augmented reality to visualize a building in 3D and show, as a holographic figure, the position of personnel in the building. In some embodiments, a user can “tap” on a holographic figure to view data on that person, such as skin temperature, room temperature, heart rate, etc.

A system for acquiring physiological data from a patient, the system comprising: a smartphone configured for wireless communication; an adapter for releasably mounting to the smartphone; a sensor module for releasably mounting to the adapter, the sensor module comprising at least one sensor for acquiring physiological data from the patient; and a software app running on the smartphone for (i) wirelessly controlling operation of the sensor module and wirelessly receiving the physiological data from the sensor module, and (ii) wirelessly communicating with a remote location.

System for estimating thermal comfort

A system includes first and second acquisition units that acquire first and second biological information of a target, and an estimation unit. The first acquisition unit includes at least one first sensor. The second acquisition unit includes at least one second sensor different from the at least one first sensor. The estimation unit estimates a thermal comfort of the target based on the first and second biological information. The estimation unit further estimates a first thermal comfort of the target based on the first biological information, and the thermal comfort of the target based on the first and second biological information. When the second acquisition unit does not acquire the second biological information, the estimation unit sets, as the thermal comfort of the target, the first thermal comfort that is corrected using previous thermal comfort of the target estimated by the estimation unit based on at least the second biological information previously acquired by the second acquisition unit.
