An electronic device comprises a plurality of sensors and a main controller. The plurality of sensors are each configured to detect, based on a transmission signal transmitted from a transmission antenna as transmission waves and a reception signal received by a reception antenna as reflected waves, an object reflecting the transmission waves T. The main controller is configured to control the plurality of sensors independently of each other.
PULSED RLG WITH IMPROVED RESISTANCE TO SIGNAL DISTURBANCE
A method of determining a filling level of a product in a tank, comprising, for each transmit pulse repetition frequency in a sequence of different transmit pulse repetition frequencies: generating and transmitting an electromagnetic transmit signal in the form of a pulse train of transmit pulses, the pulse train exhibiting the transmit pulse repetition frequency; propagating the transmit signal towards a surface of the product in the tank; returning an electromagnetic reflection signal resulting from reflection of the transmit signal at the surface back towards the transceiver; receiving the reflection signal; determining a measure indicative of signal disturbance of the reflection signal; evaluating the measure indicative of signal disturbance of the reflection signal in view of a predefined signal disturbance criterion; and determining the filling level based on at least one of the reflection signals fulfilling the signal disturbance criterion.
Radar Device
A radar device comprises a radar circuit configured to transceive first radar signals that occupy a first frequency band and second radar signals that occupy a second frequency band. An antenna device of the radar device comprises a first set and a second set of antennas and is configured to selectively transduce the first radar signals via the first set and not via the second set and to selectively transduce the second radar signals via the second set and not via the first set. A processing device of the radar device detects from the first radar signals target reflections via first propagation channels and from the second radar signals target reflections via second propagation channels. The signal processing device jointly evaluates the target reflections via the first and second propagation channels to form a common virtual antenna array for determining an angular position of a target object.
Methods and apparatus utilizing multiple radars in object detection for wireless power transfer
Methods and apparatus utilizing time division access of multiple radar transceivers in living object detection for wireless power transfer applications are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus for detecting an object in a detection area of a wireless power transfer system is provided. The apparatus comprises a plurality of radar transceivers. The apparatus comprises a processor configured to group the plurality of radar transceivers into pairs of radar transceivers. The processor is configured to instruct each of the pairs of radar transceivers to transmit radar signals during a corresponding time slot of a plurality of time slots. The processor is configured to instruct each of the pairs of radar transceivers to receive the radar signals during the corresponding time slot of the plurality of time slots. The processor is configured to detect the object in the detection area based on at least some of the radar signals received by each of the pairs of radar transceivers.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RADAR INTERFERENCE MITIGATION
A system for radar interference mitigation, preferably including one or more transmitter arrays, receiver arrays, and/or signal processors, and optionally including one or more velocity sensing modules. A method for radar interference mitigation, preferably including transmitting a set of probe signals, receiving a set of reflected probe signals, and/or evaluating interference, and optionally including decoding the set of received probe signals and/or compensating for interference.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND PROGRAM
An electronic device includes a transmission antenna and a reception antenna. The transmission antenna transmits a transmission wave. The reception antenna receives a reflection wave generated by reflection of the transmission wave. The electronic device detects an object based on a transmission signal transmitted as the transmission wave and a reception signal received as the reflection wave. The electronic device includes a controller that determines how frequently to transmit the transmission wave in each of multiple segments of frequencies at which the transmission wave is transmitted in accordance with noise powers in the multiple segments of the frequencies.
Dithering FMCW radar parameters to mitigate spurious signals
A method for a radar system includes transmitting, by a transmit channel of the radar system, a frame comprising first, second, and third chirps. Each chirp has a chirp start frequency, and the chirp start frequency of the transmitted chirps is dithered. The method also includes receiving, by a receive channel of the radar system, a frame of reflected chirps based on the transmitted frame, and generating a digital intermediate frequency (IF) signal.
Network-Based Co-Existence Operations Involving a Radar-Enabled User Equipment
One or more network nodes are configured for operation in a wireless communication network and, specifically, are configured to provide for co-existence between radar-scanning operations of a radar-enabled UE and network communications, where the radar transmissions are in a same or overlapping frequency range as regards the network communications. In an example implementation, a radio network node, referred to as an CONFIGURE ONE OR MORE access point or base station supports coexistence between radar sensing and network communications that are subject to interference from the radar sensing.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
An electronic device includes a transmission antenna, a reception antenna, and a controller. The transmission antenna transmits a transmission wave. The reception antenna receives a reflected wave that is the reflected transmission wave. The controller detects an object that reflects the transmission wave, based on a transmission signal transmitted as the transmission wave and a reception signal received as the reflected wave. The controller configures a transmission signal in a second frame among a plurality of frames of the transmission wave differently from a transmission signal in a first frame among the plurality of frames.
