Diagnostic and therapeutic device for compromised vascular hemodynamics analysis

An integrated triad system to measure a patient's blood pressure at different body positions, to instruct the patient when to move from one position to the next to alleviate vascular hypertension based on an algorithm stored in the system calculating blood pressure changes and predictive risk, and to transmit the result to a remote medical location. Using the integrated triad system to perform the test over a period can increase test sensitivity by accommodating the variable onset of the disease.

The present specification describes methods and systems for on-inflate non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) measurement suitable for cuffs of various sizes. In embodiments, an adapter hose connecting the cuff to the NIBP device is dynamically identified. Embodiments provide a restriction in at least one of the valves in the NIBP device to enable a controlled release of air from the device during the cuff inflation process.

Valve, gas control device, and sphygmomanometer

A gas control device includes a pump, a valve, a cuff, and a controller. The valve includes a first plate having a first vent hole and a first vent hole, a channel forming plate having an exhaust hole and an exhaust channel, a second plate having a second vent hole, and an edge separation plate. A manchette rubber tube in the cuff is joined to the periphery of the second vent hole in the second plate by an adhesive, and thus the valve is connected to the cuff. The exhaust hole is opened to the atmosphere. The pump includes a pump housing having a discharge hole and a discharge hole. The upper surface of the pump housing is joined to the bottom surface of the edge separation plate.

The present invention relates to a respiratory sensing device attached to a patient's body and configured to acquire information regarding the patient's respiratory condition by sensing a vibration generated due to the patient's respiration using the piezoelectric effect and a respiratory monitoring system configured to output the acquired information regarding the patient's respiratory state.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR MEASURING BLOOD PRESSURE
20230019122 · 2023-01-19 ·

An electronic device for measuring blood pressure includes a measurement assembly, an airbag, and a fluid pipeline, where a fluid pump and a pressure sensor in the measurement assembly are connected to the airbag through a first fluid pipeline and a second fluid pipeline respectively, a first nozzle in the first fluid pipeline and a second nozzle in the second fluid pipeline are located on a same side of the airbag, and an opening direction of one of the first nozzle and the second nozzle is away from that of the other, so that the first nozzle and the second nozzle are away from each other. This reduces impact on the pressure sensor caused by airflow in the airbag, and improves blood pressure measurement accuracy.

Blood pressure monitor attachment assembly

A blood pressure monitor configured to removably mount to a cuff in a substantially symmetrical position with respect to a width of the cuff can include a housing defining an interior, a first port, and a second port. The first port can: secure to a first prong of the cuff when the cuff is mounted in a first orientation; receive and secure to a second prong of the cuff when the cuff is mounted in a second orientation; and enable fluid communication between the interior and at least one of a first fluid passage within the first prong and a second fluid passage within the second prong. The second port can: secure to the second prong of the cuff when the cuff is mounted in the first orientation; and receive and secure to the first prong of the cuff when the cuff is mounted in the second orientation.

Devices and Methods for Controlling Inflation Rate in Blood Pressure Measurements

An aspect of the disclosure pertains to a blood pressure measurement device and methods of controlling an inflation rate in a blood pressure measurement. An inflatable bladder of the blood pressure measurement device defines, at least in part, a pressurizable volume. The inflatable bladder may be inflated to pressurize a user's appendage and temporarily occlude blood flow in the user's appendage. A pressure sensor of the blood pressure measurement device is configured to obtain blood pressure measurements, and a pump of the blood pressure measurement device is configured to inflate the inflatable bladder and control an inflation rate by controlling at least one of a duty cycle, a voltage, or a drive frequency.

A wearable device in the form of a tee-shirt is described. The sleeves of the tee-shirt having an electrocardiogram (ECG) sensor, a photoplethysmogram (PPG) sensor or a ballistocardiogram (BCG) sensor for monitoring the pulse of a person wearing the tee-shirt. The tee-shirt makes possible the comparison of the pulses down the two arms. The pulse-transit-time, pulse amplitude, pulse spread and pulse shape may be compared to observe any difference between the left and right sides of the person.
