Sleeping or reclining furniture with a sensor
The invention relates to a piece of sleeping or reclining furniture, comprising a support element (2) for applying a padding or a mattress and at least one sensor (12) for detecting vibrations, movement, and/or sound. The piece of sleeping or reclining furniture is characterized in that the at least one sensor (12) is arranged at a section (120) of the support element (2) that is decoupled from further sections of the support element (2) and/or of the sleeping or reclining furniture.
Breathing sensing device
A breathing sensing device that detects breathing of a subject, the breathing sensing device including a film-shaped sensor configured to adhere to a body surface of the subject from a region corresponding to a xiphoid process of a sternum of the subject to a region corresponding to an epigastrium of the subject. The sensor is configured to detect the breathing of the subject by detecting relative positional changes between the region corresponding to the xiphoid process and the region corresponding to the epigastrium.
Biological information detection system and biological information detection method
In order to stably detect biological information such as the heartbeat, respiration, and pulse waves of a living organism, a biological information detection system that detects biological information comprises: a transmission antenna arranged on one side of the living organism and irradiating radio waves of prescribed polarized waves on to the living organism; a reception antenna arranged on the other side of the living organism and receiving transmitted waves being polarized waves orthogonal to the radio waves of prescribed polarized waves in a step in which same are transmitted through the living organism; and a detection unit that detects biological information on the basis of the transmitted waves received by the reception antenna.
Bio-electrode composition, bio-electrode, and method for manufacturing bio-electrode
A bio-electrode composition includes (A) an ionic material and (B) a lithium titanate powder. The component (A) is a polymer compound containing a repeating unit-a having a structure selected from an ammonium salt, a sodium salt, a potassium salt, and a silver salt of any of fluorosulfonic acid, fluorosulfonimide, and N-carbonyl-fluorosulfonamide. Thus, the present invention provides a bio-electrode composition capable of forming a living body contact layer for a bio-electrode that is excellent in electric conductivity and biocompatibility, is light-weight, can be manufactured at low cost, and can control significant reduction in the electric conductivity even when the bio-electrode is wetted with water or dried; a bio-electrode including a living body contact layer formed of the bio-electrode composition; and a method for manufacturing the bio-electrode.
Wearable heartbeat and breathing waveform continuous monitoring system
Apparatus and method are provided to collect and analyze heartbeat waveforms. In one novel aspect, the heartbeat waveforms are collected from wearable devices. In one embodiment, the wearable device collects heartbeat waveforms by attaching the device to the patient for a long period and sends the collected waveforms to a receiver through a wireless network. In another novel aspect, an application program is installed in a smart device to receive heartbeat waveforms from one or more wearable devices. The application program either relays the received waveform to a remote processing center or processes the data before sending. In another novel aspect, an analysis method compares received patient's current heartbeat waveform with historic data. In one embodiment, the historic data are stored in a cloud-based database. In another novel aspect, the remote processing center is an open platform data center, which takes in certified third party inputs.
SENSOR APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A sensor apparatus includes at least one substrate layer of an elastically deformable material, the substrate layer extending longitudinally between spaced apart ends thereof. A conductive layer is attached to and extends longitudinally between the spaced apart ends of the at least one substrate layer. The conductive layer includes an electrically conductive material adapted to form a strain gauge having an electrical resistance that varies based on deformation of the conductive layer in at least one direction.
ELECTRIC APPARATUS AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
An electric apparatus of a bio-signal measurement system comprising a front part and a back part. The front part comprises a compartment at a back side of the front part, the compartment housing the back part when inserted therein. The back part comprises an electric circuit conductors and an extension plate, which extends to the front part within the electric apparatus. The extension plate comprises first electric contacts of the electric circuit conductors, the first electric contacts residing within the front part when the back part is within the compartment, the first electric contacts acting as counter-electrodes or electrodes of a front flap of a disposable patch electrode structure. The electric apparatus receives the front flap of the disposable patch electrode structure into a volume of the front part for forming a contact between the first electric contacts and the electrodes of the front flap. At least one of the back part and the front part comprises resin holes, and the compartment contains resin received through the resin holes, the resin immobilizing the front part and the back part with respect to each other and attaching them together.
Passive and wireless pressure sensor
Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to pressure sensing. As may be implemented in accordance with one or more embodiments, an external energy field is applied to a resonant circuit having inductive conductors separated by a compressible dielectric, for wirelessly detecting pressure. Specifically, the resonant circuit is responsive to the energy field and applied pressures by operating in respective states exhibiting different resonant frequencies that are based upon pressure-related compression of the compressible dielectric. These resonant frequencies, or a change in the resonant frequencies, can be used as an indication of the pressure.
