APPLIANCE FOR MONITORING THE COMPRESSION THERAPY PROVIDED BY A COMPRESSION MEANS
An appliance (10) for monitoring the compression therapy provided by a compression means comprises a measuring device made of a textile material for placing on a wearer and having two end portions (20, 22) which enclose between them a central portion (28), wherein two electrodes (12-18) are arranged in each end portion (20, 22) and each form an electrode pair with an electrode (12-18) of the other end portion (20, 22), wherein one electrode pair determines a flow of electric current and the other electrode pair determines an electrical voltage between the electrodes (12-18) of a pair, wherein the electrodes (12-18) are designed such that, when the measuring device is placed on a wearer, the electric current between the electrodes (12-18) of a pair flows through the body of the wearer underneath the skin. The compression therapy is monitored here by monitoring, through determination of impedance, the decrease in liquid in tissues that are treated by the compression.
Hydration status monitoring
A method of determining an indication of the hydration status relating to a subject. The method includes determining a measured impedance value for at least one body segment, and then; for each body segment, using the measured impedance values to determine at least one indicator at least partially indicative of a level of extracellular fluid. Indicators can then be used to determine an indication of the hydration status.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes: a display panel configured to display an image; an input sensor disposed on the display panel and including first electrodes and second electrodes electrically insulated from the first electrodes; and a sensor controller electrically connected to the input sensor, the sensor controller configured to drive the input sensor in a first driving mode or a second driving mode, wherein: in the first driving mode, the sensor controller is configured to measure a variation of capacitance between the first electrodes and the second electrodes to generate location information of an input, and in the second driving mode, the sensor controller is configured to use a first portion among the first electrodes as a transmission sensing electrode and to use a second portion among the first electrodes as a reception sensing electrode to analyze a body composition.
Combination ultrasound transducer and fat injecting cannula
A medical device for injecting fat while simultaneously allowing the injection site to be viewed with ultrasound. The device may comprise a handle with a front portion and a rear portion, a cannula having a cannula tip, extending from the front portion of the handle, and an ultrasound probe attached to the handle, the ultrasound probe comprising an ultrasound head. The ultrasound head is aligned with and spaced apart from the cannula tip, and remains so aligned during the injection process so that the injection area may be continuously viewed during the procedure.
Insertable device for in vivo sensing
Embodiments described relate to a medical device including an invasive probe such as a guidewire that, when inserted into a duct (e.g. vasculature) of an animal (e.g., a human or non-human animal, including a human or non-human mammal), may be used to aid in diagnosing and/or treating a lesion of the duct (e.g. a growth or deposit within vasculature that fully or partially blocks the vasculature). The invasive probe may have one or more impedance sensors to sense characteristics of the lesion, including by detecting one or more characteristics of tissues and/or biological materials of the lesion. There is further described a method of assembling such a medical device.
