UPRIGHT AND INVERTED STANDING MICROSCOPE
A standing microscope is provided that includes a desk having a tabletop disposed atop a plurality of vertically adjustable legs. Each vertically adjustable leg has an adjustable length and causes the tabletop to be vertically lowered or raised. The microscope may be converted into an upright and inverted configuration and includes an objective for receiving light reflected from a specimen, a condenser for illuminating the specimen, and a stage for supporting the specimen. The microscope rests on a supporting surface disposed under the tabletop and is inserted through an opening on the tabletop.
Digital microscope system for a mobile device
A digital microscope system configured for use with the built in camera of a mobile device is provided. The digital microscope system has a lens and an advanced lighting system incorporated into a case designed to fit a particular mobile device, where the case positions the optics of the case over the lens of the built in camera and the camera built in flash. When combined with an application program (app) running on the mobile device held within the case, the optics of the case combined with the built in camera of the mobile device becomes a powerful digital microscope with a user adjustable magnification. In a specific embodiment the adjustable magnification ranges from 1 up to 200 optical magnification.
Multifunction autofocus system and method for automated microscopy
Multifunction autofocus for automated microscopy includes automatic coarse focusing of an automated microscope by reflective positioning, followed by automatic image-based autofocusing of the automated microscope performed in reference to a coarse focus position. In some aspects, the image-based autofocusing utilizes astigmatism in microscope optics for multi-planar image acquisition along a Z axis direction of a microscope. In some other aspects, the image-based autofocusing utilizes astigmatism in microscope optics in combination with chromatic aberration for multi-planar image acquisition along the Z axis direction.
Upright and inverted microscope
A dual-configuration microscope is provided that may be converted into an upright or inverted microscope. The microscope includes a body having a plurality of planar surfaces, each planar surface configured to support the body on a working surface as the body is tilted between the upright and inverted configurations. The microscope further includes an objective, a condenser, a stage positioned between the objective and the condenser, and a portable display device to display a specimem.
Upright and inverted microscope
A dual-configuration microscope is provided that may be converted into an upright or inverted microscope. The microscope includes a base and a body having a first portion and a second portion, wherein the body is rotatably coupled to the base. The microscope further includes an objective coupled to the first portion of the body, a condenser coupled to the second portion of the body and a stage positioned between the objective and the condenser. The microscope further includes a first and second knob configured to adjust the position of the objective, wherein the first knob is disposed proximal to the first portion of the body and the second knob is disposed proximal to the second portion of the body.

SURGICAL MICROSCOPE DEVICE AND SURGICAL MICROSCOPE SYSTEM
To enable observation of the operating site to be continued more easily in the case in which the picture of the operating site is no longer displayed normally.
Provided is a surgical microscope device including: a microscope unit that images an observation target, and outputs a picture signal; a support unit that supports the microscope unit, and is configured as a balance arm; and an auxiliary observation device that is attachable to the microscope unit or the support unit, and is configured to enable observation of an observation range provided by the microscope unit.
LINEAR DRIVE FOR MOVING A FUNCTIONAL UNIT OF A MICROSCOPE AND MICROSCOPE
A linear drive for moving a functional unit of a microscope is provided. The linear drive includes a first moveable member that is rotatable about an axis of rotation and fixed with respect to linear movement along the axis of rotation; a second moveable member that is connected to the functional unit, fixed against a rotation about the axis of rotation, and moveable along the axis of rotation; and a spacing member engaged with the first moveable member at a first point and the second moveable member at a second point, and configured to maintain a constant spacing between the first point of the first moveable member and the second point of the second moveable member.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPTOGENETIC IMAGING
Systems and methods configured for simultaneous imaging and stimulation using a microscope system. The microscope system can have a relatively small size compared to an average microscope system. The microscope can comprise in part an imaging light source and a stimulation light source. Light from the imaging light source and the stimulation light source can be spectrally separated to reduce cross talk between the stimulation light and the imaging light.
