The lens part comprises a plurality of protruding lenses disposed in parallel. The image-forming part comprises an image having a main axis direction. An angle formed between the main axis direction and an extension direction that is a longitudinal direction of the lenses is 040 or 5090. The curved surface has a first region to a third region having different normal directions and has a shape in which one of the normal directions of the respective regions is inclined with respect to a plane including the other two normal directions.
Display system
To display easily-seen display information on any display area regardless of an installation location, a display system (1) includes: a projection device (10) that switches and projects emitted light from a spatial light modulator element onto a plurality of display areas; and a control device (20) that controls the projection device to switch a projection direction of projected light from the projection device (10), based on a display condition of display information to be displayed on the display areas. The projection device (10) has: a reflecting mirror that is put in and out of a light path of emitted light from the spatial light modulator element; and a light path switching means that switches the projection direction of projected light by putting the reflecting mirror in and out of the light path of emitted light from the spatial light modulator element in response to control of the control device.
DISPLAY SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AIRCRAFT
A display system of an aircraft includes a display device defining a display area, a vision system for generating an image of an operating environment of the aircraft on the display area, data processors operatively coupled to the display device and the vision system, and non-transitory machine-readable memory operatively coupled to the one or more data processors and storing instructions executable by the one or more processors and configured to cause the one or more processors to, when a condition of the aircraft is met, cause an alteration of a display of flight information on the display area to declutter a cutout region in the image generated by the vision system, the cutout region devoid of imaging generated by the vision system and displaying an Approach Lighting System (ALS) of a runway of intended landing for the aircraft.
Methods and Apparatuses for Providing a Single Grating Layer Color Holographic Waveguide Display
A waveguide display comprises: a waveguide supporting a single grating layer; a source of data-modulated light; a first input coupler for directing a first spectral band of light from the source into a first waveguide pupil; a second input coupler for directing a second spectral band of light from the source into a second waveguide pupil; an output coupler comprising multiplexed first and second gratings, at least one fold grating for directing the first spectral band along a first path from the first pupil to the output coupler and providing a first beam expansion; at least one fold grating for directing the second spectral band along a second path from the second pupil to the output coupler and providing a first beam expansion. The first multiplexed grating directing the first spectral band out of the waveguide in a first direction with beam expansion orthogonal to the first beam expansion. The second multiplexed grating directing the second spectral band out of the waveguide in the first direction with beam expansion orthogonal to the first beam expansion.
EXTENDED ON-SCREEN GAMEPLAY VIA AUGMENTED REALITY
Various embodiments of the invention disclosed herein provide techniques for extending on-screen gameplay via an augmented reality (AR) system. An extended AR application executing on an AR headset system receives, via a game controller, first data associated with a first object associated with a computer-generated game. The extended AR application renders an augmented reality object based on the first data associated with the first object. The extended AR application displays at least a first portion of the augmented reality object via an augmented reality headset system. Further, an image associated with the computer-generated game is simultaneously rendered on a display monitor
Pro gaming AR visor and method for parsing context specific HUD content from a video stream
A wearable or mountable visor or display apparatus capable of presenting augmented reality (AR) content. The primary intent of the AR visor is to parse and selectively display desired heads up display (HUD) content from a video stream or video game such as a map, timer or clock, speedometer/tachometer, instrumentation panels, or similar context-sensitive information relevant to a video game or stream. The AR visor allows a user to configure and display various content on one or more designated sections of the AR visor/display.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DISPLAY AND INTERACTION EMBEDDED IN A COCKPIT
The invention relates to a method and system for display and interaction with an aircraft control system, intended for an aircraft pilot, embedded in a cockpit of the aircraft. The method is implemented by a system for display and interaction including a first so-called head-down man-machine interface and a second so-called head-up man-machine interface. The method includes determining a line of sight of the pilot, receiving a command to enter the frozen display mode and keeping at least part of the display on the second man-machine interface in a frozen position, independently of the pilot's line of sight, then displaying at least one complementary man-machine interface element, as a function of the pilot's line of sight, in at least one free area of the cockpit, and displaying a cursor representative of the pilot's line of sight.
