11158420 · 2021-10-26 · ·

Systems and methods for tracking healing progress of multiple adjacent wounds are provided. In one embodiment, a system may include a processor configured to receive a first image of a plurality of adjacent wounds near a form of colorized surface having colored reference elements, determine colors of the plurality of wounds, correct for local illumination conditions, receive a second image of the plurality of wounds near the form of colorized surface, to determine second colors of the plurality of wounds in the second image, match each of the plurality of wounds in the second image to a wound of the plurality of wounds in the first image, and determine an indicator of the healing progress for each of the plurality of wounds based on changes between the first image and the second image.

MEASURING AND MONITORING SKIN FEATURE COLORS, FORM AND SIZE

Kits, diagnostic systems and methods are provided, which measure the distribution of colors of skin features by comparison to calibrated colors which are co-imaged with the skin feature. The colors on the calibration template (calibrator) are selected to represent the expected range of feature colors under various illumination and capturing conditions. The calibrator may also comprise features with different forms and size for calibrating geometric parameters of the skin features in the captured images. Measurements may be enhanced by monitoring over time changes in the distribution of colors, by measuring two and three dimensional geometrical parameters of the skin feature and by associating the data with medical diagnostic parameters. Thus, simple means for skin diagnosis and monitoring are provided which simplify and improve current dermatologic diagnostic procedures.

METHOD OF DETERMINING A SKIN OR HAIR BEAUTY RITUAL ASSOCIATED WITH A SPECIFIC USER
20210290150 · 2021-09-23 ·

A method is for determining a beauty ritual. The method includes performing a beauty diagnosis of a user, and determining a generic beauty ritual including a set of recommended products selected according to the beauty diagnosis. Each recommended product is associated with a generic dosage and a generic prescription for use. The method further includes measuring, over time, the external stress undergone by the user with an environment sensor carried by the user during a period of time. At each increment of the period, the generic dosage and/or the generic prescription for use of the generic beauty ritual is modified based on the measured external stress to obtain a beauty ritual with recommended products having a dosage and/or a prescription for use enabling to respond to the external stress undergone by the user.

Instrument for Electrosurgical Treatment

An instrument for thermal treatment of tissue (34), particularly for electrosurgical treatment and particularly for argon plasma coagulation, is disclosed. The instrument has an instrument body (25) extending between a proximal end (27) and a distal end (28). In an end section (38) adjoining a distal end (28) the instrument body (25) comprises at least one color mark (39) in a defined color. This color corresponds to the color of a treated tissue (34) that is created, if the dosage of an energy introduction for achieving a desired depth effect in the tissue (34) has been selected correctly. Preferably the instrument is configured as probe (17), particularly as endoscope probe and has a flexible bendable instrument body (25) that can be referenced as instrument hose (26).
