Method For Measuring Trunk Balance, Method For Determining Color Of Lens For Eyewear, Method For Determining Color Of Contact Lens, Method For Determining Color Of Frame For Eyewear, And Method For Determining Color Of Wearable Item For Human
A more suitable eyewear lens color is selected. An eyewear lens color determination method has: a color acquisition step (step S1, step S2) of causing a person under evaluation of which trunk balance is to be measured to stand such that his/her posture becomes readily unstable upon external application of a force to the person under evaluation, then having the person under evaluation hold each of colored paper sheets of different colors in sequence, and measuring trunk balance of the person under evaluation based on a movement of the person under evaluation produced by externally applying a force thereto in order to acquire color information on the thing providing the result of good trunk balance; and a color determination step (step S3, step S4) of determining an eyewear lens color based on the color information acquired in the color acquisition step.
Nevigraph
The Nevigraph is a credit card sized (2.253.25) plastic card designed for use in dermatology offices and given to patients to monitor any mole changes over time between dermatologist visits. It includes a millimeter ruler, a range of 10 shades of brown/black with holes to place over the mole while comparing color, a place for the dermatologist to record the mole location, a space for the dermatologist to put their contact information, and a back side that includes descriptions and example pictures illustrating the ABCDEs of dermatology.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING INFORMATION RELATED TO SKIN TYPE OF OBJECT
Provided are an electronic device and method for providing information related to a skin type of an object. The electronic device includes: a camera configured to capture at least one image including a skin portion and a non-skin portion of an object; and a processor configured to determine at least one color ratio between the skin portion and the non-skin portion from the at least one image, and determine a skin type of the object based on the determined at least one color ratio.
Method for determining a greyness level of a strand of hair
A method for determining a greyness level of a strand of hair and a system adapted to implement this method are provided. First, an image of the strand of hair representing it according to a predefined representation standard is obtained. The image comprises a portion representing the strand of hair with pixels. Then, for each pixel of the portion, a luminance value is determined. After that an amount of pixels in the portion for which the determined luminance value is above a threshold luminance value is determined. Finally, the greyness level of the strand of hair is determined by estimating a ratio of the determined amount of pixels over a total amount of pixels in the portion.
IMAGE BASED JAUNDICE DIAGNOSING METHOD AND APPARATUS AND IMAGE BASED JAUNDICE DIAGNOSIS ASSISTING APPARATUS
Disclosed are image based jaundice analyzing method and apparatus. The image based jaundice analyzing method according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes: receiving an image for jaundice diagnosis obtained by photographing a specific body part of a user and a reference object in a location where the user is currently located; generating color distortion information representing a degree of color distortion of the reference object included in the image for jaundice diagnosis; generating a correction image for jaundice diagnosis by correcting the color distortion of the image for jaundice diagnosis based on the color distortion information; and diagnosing a jaundice symptom of the user using the correction image for jaundice diagnosis.
DEVICE FOR ESTIMATING ROUGHNESS AND SHINE OF HAIR
A device for measuring roughness and shine of hair, comprising a) a first area comprising an ascending gradient of shine, and b) a second area comprising an ascending gradient of roughness, wherein the first area is aligned to the second area, and wherein the ascending gradient of shine and the ascending gradient of texture are inverse to each other, and wherein the roughness is provided by a textured pattern which is textured to mimic hair.
Medical device or system for measuring hemoglobin levels during accidents using a camera-projector system
A medical system (10) and method measures hemoglobin level of a subject (38). A hemoglobin color scale (HbCS) (22) is projected into afield of view (FOV) (42) of an imaging system (12). The HbCS (22) includes a plurality of blood color regions (26a-f), each blood color region (26a-f) corresponding to a hemoglobin level and colored to represent the color of blood at the corresponding hemoglobin level. An image of blood of the subject (38), and the projected HbCS, is acquired using the imaging system (12).
Apparatus and a method for determine biometric data of a user and an electronic device
Particular embodiments described herein provide for an apparatus to determine biometric data of a user including: a processing circuit configured to: generate a control signal relating to a control value for controlling a wavelength of emitted light of a light source; receive biometric input data based on reflected light from the skin of the user caused by the light of the wavelength emitted by the light source; and determine biometric data of the user based on the biometric input data; and an output interface configured to provide the biometric data of the user.
A DENTAL IMAGING AND ILLUMINATION DEVICE
A dental imaging and illumination device. The device has an optical interface for emitting light from the device and for receiving light into the device. The device has a light source, a camera, a beam splitter and a color reference. The color reference and the light source are optically coupled via an optical path so that the light source can illuminate the color reference. This optical path bypasses the beam splitter. The device facilitates color measuring particularly in the field of dentistry.
GINGIVAL INDEXING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INDEXING THE GINGIVA
Gingiva indexing devices and methods with various defined red colour regions have a colour grey card or grey card assigned to it for detecting the gingiva status, in particular for producing a gingival restoration. The devices and method comprise an analysis of at least one region of the gingiva status with regard to its shades of red, the position of the shades of red, the colour profile of the shades of red, their geometry and/or their morphology. The analysis can take place manually and/or digitally, and gingiva information is obtained, in particular in the form of a gingiva map, and optional production of a virtual or real model of a gingival restoration as a reproduction of the missing part of the gums and/or part of gingiva.
