BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION DETECTION DEVICE INCLUDING CALCULATION CIRCUIT THAT GENERATES SIGNAL OF BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION
20170231544 · 2017-08-17 ·

A biological information detection device according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: a light source that, in operation, emits irradiation light for irradiating a test portion of a subject; a light detector that, in operation, detects light reached from the test portion and that outputs an electrical signal corresponding to the light; and a calculation circuit that, in operation, generates a signal of biological information related to a blood flow in a target area in the test portion based on the electrical signal. The light detector is an image sensor. The electrical signal includes an image signal obtained by the image sensor. The calculation circuit, in operation, detects a magnitude of an inclination of an orientation of the test portion with respect to a reference orientation by image recognition based on the image signal, and determines the target area according to the magnitude of the inclination of the orientation of the test portion.

Mechanical axis alignment using MRI imaging

A method of imaging a body part includes locating a first, second and third anatomical reference area. The third anatomical reference area is disposed generally between the first and second anatomical reference areas. Furthermore, the method includes positioning a first member of a reference tool relative to the first anatomical reference area, positioning a second member of the reference tool relative to the second anatomical reference area, and a pivotal coupling member relative to the third anatomical reference area. The pivotal coupling member pivotally couples the first and second members of the reference tool. In addition, the method includes imaging a target area of the body part to produce an image. The image includes the target area of the body part and the first and second members. The first member indicates a first axis of the body part, and the second member indicates a second axis of the body part.

INTEROPERABLE WEARABLE DEVICES AND COMMUNICATION PLATFORM
20170224214 · 2017-08-10 ·

Systems and methods for systems and platforms that receive data from and send data to wearable devices, receive data from environmental sensors, and visualization which collectively creates a kinematic chain to allow for input from individuals, groups, third party information and interfaces with historical data as well as predictive modeling systems. Systems that include data from interoperable wearables in conjunction with one or more sensors and measuring devices may be used. Furthermore, the interoperability of one or more sensors and communication modules could be networked with one or more physical entities and objects creating an interactive communication network. Wearable platforms could include but are not limited to all wearables (inter- and intra- and proximity-wearables), smart devices, IT networks, virtual systems and secure information processes. In addition, the platforms and networks could also include real-time biological interoperability based on various synchronized and/or asynchronized data inputs, information and media.
