PROCESS OF MANUFACTURE OF CUSTOMIZED SPLIT INSOLE FOR DIABETIC PATIENTS
Under the inventive process, the customised split insole is made by processing manually collected medical data and arch data along with plantar pressure distribution data and foot type data both of which are collected using a computer enabled Plantar Pressure Measuring Device in a first computer and processing these data in a second computer to generate a Projection Data which is expressed in Shore Hardness Value. Then, ranking of the projection data into a zone wise Ranking Index, determining the elasticity of the material to be used for the said Shore Hardness Value, converting the said shore hardness value into Surface Tessellation Language and transmitting the same to a third computer built into a 3D printing machine which selects a suitable material and its elasticity zone wise as per the Shore Hardness Value and 3D prints the same.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF FEET
The present invention is a system and method for identifying certain physical properties of human feet. The system uses electronic and optical elements to perform before and after pronation test and before and after arch tests (meaning before and after use of an orthotic), and develop a 360 degree, three-dimensional view of the foot. It includes an insertable shoe-simulator used to assist in providing before- and after analysis of pronation.
MEMBRANE-BASED FOOT IMAGING APPARATUS INCLUDING A CAMERA FOR MONITORING FOOT POSITIONING
A foot imaging apparatus includes a support structure and a flexible membrane suspended from the support structure and configured to receive a foot thereon. The apparatus also includes a three-dimensional imager located under the flexible membrane and configured to acquire a topographical plantar image of the foot on the flexible membrane. The apparatus further includes a monitoring unit for monitoring a monitored region in order to evaluate a positioning of the foot on the flexible membrane. The monitoring unit includes a camera having a field of view, and at least one light deflector arranged to deflect light from the monitored region into the field of view of the camera. The camera acquires a monitoring image of the monitored region after deflection by the at least one light deflector. The monitoring image contains information about the positioning of the foot on the flexible membrane. A foot imaging method is also provided.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING INTERNAL SYSTEMS WITHIN A VEHICLE BASED ON USER PREFERENCES
A method, system, and device for controlling internal systems within a vehicle based on user preferences is disclosed. The method includes detecting, by a floor mat, presence of a user seated on a seat within the vehicle. The method further includes capturing, by the floor mat, at least one user characteristic associated with the user in response to detecting presence of the user. The method includes controlling, by the floor mat, at least one internal system within the vehicle based on the at least one user characteristic, wherein the floor mat communicates with a central controller in the vehicle to control the at least one internal system.
APPARATUS FOR ACQUIRING DATA FOR DESIGNING LAST
The present invention provides an apparatus for acquiring data for designing a last capable of accurately measuring a three-dimensional shape of a sole of a foot that is curved as if a footwear is being worn thereon. The apparatus for acquiring data for designing a last includes a placement section 2 for placing feet F and F thereon and an imaging means 3 arranged around the placement section 2. The placement section 2 includes a heel rest 12 for placing the heel of the foot F or the foot F thereon, thereby enabling accurate measurement of the data of the sole that is curved in such a state as if footwear having a heel such as a pump is being worn thereon, without moving the foot during the measurement.
Intelligent insole
An intelligent insole is provided. The intelligent insole includes an insole body, a pressure sensor, a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor and a signal collector. The pressure sensor, the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor are formed on the surface of the insole body, and the above sensors and the insole body are manufactured via the same 3D printing process. The pressure sensor senses the pressure signal from the insole body in contact with the foot. The temperature sensor and the humidity sensor respectively sense the temperature signal and the humidity signal of the insole body. The signal collector is respectively electrically connected to the pressure sensor, the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor to receive the pressure signal, the temperature signal and the humidity signal and then transmit the signals to a signal receiver via wireless transmission.
SYSTEM FOR CUSTOMIZED MANUFACTURE OF WEARABLE OR MEDICAL PRODUCTS
The invention relates to a system for customized manufacture of a wearable and/or medical product, said system comprising a scan unit for storing and transferring a digital representation of a body or part thereof of one or more users, a manufacturing unit of one or more providers configured to manufacture said wearable and/or medical product in accordance with geometric characteristics of said digital representation and a customized product selection platform comprising a user database, a product database and a matching and/or configurator engine. In some embodiments the invention relates to corresponding systems and methods for customized selection and production of personalized items from multiple providers using centralized user profiles based on 3D digital representations of a user's body or parts thereof.
Size measurement system
Provided is a size measurement system for measuring the size of a user's foot, said system characterized by comprising: a size measurement instrument which is formed from a stand for the user to place the foot thereon, and a plurality of markers which are positioned in the periphery of the stand; and a measurement terminal which captures an image of a state in which the user has placed the foot on the stand in the size measurement instrument such that the plurality of markers can be recognized from a plurality of directions, and which computes size data for the foot from contour information for the foot obtained through the image capture from each of the directions
